Rebecca woke with a slight headache from the wine she had drank the night before and laughed at herself. She didn't have to work today but she needed to do a few things like go grocery shopping and housework. She remembered sending the e-mail to lonely cowboy but doubted if he would have replied this soon. She looked at the clock and realized it was almost 11 , she never slept that late! She jumped up to get a shower and get dressed before making something for breakfast.

She was waiting on her eggs to cook when she glanced over to her phone, wondering if perhaps he had seen her e-mail. She picked it up and then shook her head and dialed her sister's number. Alice answered on the second ring "Hey big sis! How are you doing?" Rebecca laughed and said "How would you like to see your big sis? I sure would like to see you and that sweet niece of mine." She held the phone away from her ear as Alice shouted in excitement before listening to the questions "When? What happened?" Rebecca laughed and said "I'm tired of being away from you all! You know about what happened with the jerk. I've been looking online at the local children's hospital there, of course the closest is in Dallas. Which I know is a few hours away from you but would be closer then here! I'm thinking about making the trip and going to check out the hospital and visit with you and mom. What do you think?"

Alice was so happy she was crying as she said "I think that's amazing! It's a wonderful idea!! Have you told Mom?" Rebecca laughed and said "No not yet so don't say anything. I wanted to talk to you first and I have some loose ends to tie up here before I even make the trip to check things out so it may be a few weeks." Alice started rambling about the newest things Bella had been doing and Rebecca just sort of zoned out until she heard "Becca are you listening to me?" She laughed and said "Of course i'm listening, she sounds just adorable." Alice laughed and said "Nice try big sis but that's not what I asked! I asked if you had let your job know. Now tell me what has you distracted??"

Rebecca shook her head because Alice knew her so well. Sighing she answered "Well I was drinking a bit last night when I went online to look at apartments to rent and I came across some personal ads for that area. And I kind of .. well .. replied to one." She could hear Alice giggling on the other end before she said "Alice!" Her sister piped up and said "That's great sis! Did he write back?" Rebecca said "I don't know yet I haven't checked!" Alice said "You better get off this phone right now and go check your e-mail! And you better text me right away if he does! I love you Becca, let me know the details of when to expect you!" Rebecca said her goodbyes to Alice and smiled, she had a lot to do and plan. She opened up her phone and smiled when she saw he had replied, she opened it and began to read.

After reading through his response she was grinning. He seemed sweet and funny and very laid back. She clicked on the first photo, he was so handsome and his little boy was adorable! His son looked like a carbon copy of him. Kyle had dark hair that he wore a little on the long side, his eyes were a crystal blue color and looked kind. She smiled at the fact that they both wore matching hats and the smile on little Tyler's face said he was proud to be like his dad. She stared for a moment longer before opening the next photo. This one had him on a horse and oh man what a body he had! In front of him sat the most precious little girl who was looking up at him like he was everything. She had to be a Daddy's girl no doubt! She had long dark curls but you couldn't tell her eye color, she guessed they were probably like her father and brothers. She looked at the time stamp and realized he had only sent this e-mail maybe 45 minutes before. She decided to go ahead and reply and maybe he would reply again soon.

Hi Kyle,

I'm glad you replied. I'm sure you are getting several responses this morning! Thank You for the complement, you have me blushing now. You are certainly handsome and your children are adorable! I have worked over the years with several children that have Down Syndrome. They are absolute joys to have around, and always give the greatest hugs! There's this one little boy in particular that has stolen just a bit of my heart (lol okay maybe a lot) he's 7 now. His name is Luke, I first met him when he was 3. I always know when he's coming in, as soon as he hits the door he asks for me. He always brings me drawings and tells me what he learned in school, his mom and I stay in touch over Facebook. He has an amazing talent with music and has the sweetest voice! I admit freely that it will break my heart to leave here and not see him weekly. He told me last week that he knows when he grows up he wants to marry someone just like me, since he knows i'll be married by then. Lol. Sorry I totally got off topic there :-) .. Let me answer some of your questions. I had a boyfriend, we were together two years and it ended badly.. I only have the one sister , who is super excited that i'm moving closer. In my spare time I love to cook, try new recipes and things, read, and visit friends. I love animals and yes i've rode a horse a few times, I also volunteer with the local animal shelter walking dogs and helping at events. I have never been on a ranch or to Texas! To tell you the truth i'm not sure what's wrong with the guys here, I guess they weren't taught that. Do you have siblings?? A big family? What's it like living on a ranch? What's Texas like?? And most importantly... How are your daughter's appointments going? Or went depending when you read this! Lol !

I wrote back ;-) Hope you do!

Rebecca

After sending off the e-mail to him she grinned and texted her sister HE WROTE BACK! . She started laughing when she got a responce saying 'Woohoo! Call me later with details! Love you!' She was still smiling as she walked out the door to run errands. She placed a call to her boss asking for 2 weeks off and was granted it but not for 2 weeks, they were swamped and they had to cover her shifts. That was ok with her it would give her time to get other things in order like looking into jobs and places to rent. She was excited to see her family and in the back of her mind she wondered if she might get to meet Kyle too.
