         They left the toy store and made their way into a few more stores to say her goodbyes. They entered an old book store and Kyle had to look around, he loved old books. Rebecca couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face, he was like a kid in a candy store. Rebecca sat up at the counter and talked with her friend Luca, watching as Kyle browsed the isles. After about 15 minutes she walked over to him and said "Cowboy we still have to go to the grocery store." He nodded and said "I want to come back before we head out of town. There's a few things I saw but knew we wouldn't have time to look much."

       She grinned and said "Sure thing Cowboy and if it's late I know the owner and she might open up for us." He laughed and wrapped his arm around her waist. When they approached the counter Luca said "So how do you like the store Kyle?" He grinned and said "I love it. Unfortunately were in a bit of a time crunch today. I told Rebecca we need to come back before we leave town." Rebecca said "We hope to leave tonight. It might be after closing time." Luca laughed and said "Becca since when has closing time ever applied to you?"

      Rebecca laughed and said "See Cowboy, I told ya Luca would open up for us." Luca laughed and said "I'll do one better. How about if I close early, grab Lu and meet you at your place in an hour. Four people will move a lot faster that two." Rebecca hugged her friend and said "That would be wonderful Luca. We should be back there by 1:30." Luca smiled and said "Great Plenty of time. See you then."

      They headed off to the grocery store and were about half way through when a woman called Rebecca's name. Kyle stopped pushing the cart as Rebecca turned to see a lady walking towards them. Rebecca looked back at Kyle and said "Let's keep walking." Kyle followed her lead and started walking again, when the woman caught up to them she said "Becca didn't you hear me calling you?" Rebecca looked at her and said "My hearing is just fine. If I wanted to talk to you I would have one of the thousand times you called. You would think you would have gotten a clue when I changed my cell phone number."

       The lady started to tear up and said "Won't you ever forgive me?" Rebecca laughed and said "Forgive you? Sure you are forgiven. However that will never change the fact that I would never let you back into my life Lila. I put up with a lot over the years, but this was the final straw." Lila looked angry and said "Really? You are going to throw away 23 years of friendship?" Rebecca laughed and said "You were the one that did that Lila. You were talking to me about how you thought he would ask me to marry him and the whole time you were sleeping with him Lila."

      Just as Lila was about to speak a man came around the corner and said "Lila there you are." Everyone turned towards him and he said "Becca." He stopped coming towards the group and Kyle slipped his arm around Rebecca's waist. Rebecca smiled up at him, she loved his show of protectiveness and possessiveness. She turned back to face the others and said "Martin. Lila. Have a nice life. Cowboy let's finish our shopping." Martin said "Are you going to introduce us to your... friend."

      Kyle laughed and said "I know who you both are. She's Lila the ex friend who slept with you the ex boyfriend Martin. Now myself i'd like to teach you a few lessons on how to treat a woman. However my beautiful lady here wishes that I don't, so I will respect her wishes. I do need to say Thank You though." Martin said "Thank me for what?" Kyle grinned and said "For being the idiot who let a piece of ass, ruin his relationship with an amazing woman. If you didn't we wouldn't have met and I will tell you I have no intention of letting her go."

        At that Kyle and Rebecca made their way out of the isle to finish the grocery shopping. Rebecca was pushing the cart, Kyle was behind her with his arms surrounding her and helping her push. She leaned back into his protective embrace and smiled up at him. She said "Thank You Kyle. You are so wonderful and i'm lucky to have you." He kissed her lightly and said "I'm the lucky one. I have you."
