     They drove until Midnight before pulling into a hotel for a few hours of sleep. Kyle smiled over at Rebecca sleeping in the passenger seat, he leaned over and said "Baby, wake up." She smiled sleepily up at him and said "Hmm?" He laughed and said "I wanted you awake to lock the doors while I run in and rent us a room." She stretched and nodded as she sat up, he couldn't help but grin at how adorable she was when she was sleepy.

      Kyle came back to the truck and Rebecca sleepily unlocked the door. He drove around to their room and parked before helping her down from the truck. He made sure she was safe in the room before going back for the overnight bags they had both packed. He knew Rebecca was exhausted, they had been up since 4 am, somewhere around 20 hours now. He came back into the room to find her curled up in bed, he grinned and locked up before crawling into bed with her for a few hours of sleep.

     Rebecca woke up around eight o'clock the next morning, she snuggled into Kyle's arms and smiled. She quietly laid there watching him sleep and thinking about just how lucky she was, before she leaned up and gently kissed him to wake him. She knew the moment he started waking because he tightened his hold on her, pulling her closer. He mumbled "That sure is the best way to wake up Baby." She laughed and said "Time to get up Cowboy, we need to get on the road. I'm going to go get a shower, then it's your turn." He pulled her even tighter into his body and kissed her deeply before releasing her to her shower.

     He knew she would be a few minute and remembered there was a coffee shop on the corner. He jotted down a quick note, telling her where he went and made a coffee run. He returned 10 minutes later with muffins and coffee, he smiled noticing she was still in the shower. He heard her coming out of the bathroom and met her at the door with her coffee. She grinned and took it, before standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek and saying "You take such good care of me Cowboy. Now go get your shower so we can eat and get on the road." He laughed and kissed her soundly before grabbing his bag and hitting the shower.

     When he got out of the shower a few minutes later, he saw she had found the muffins and sat them out on napkins. She was sitting on the bed on the phone, when he noticed she was looking down at the phone. He laughed and said "Who you talkin' to Darlin'?" She turned the phone so he could see the kids, who yelled "Daddy!" He smiled and said " Hi guys! I miss you!" Tyler said "We miss you too Daddy! When are y'all gonna be home?" Kyle laughed and said "Maybe tonight, if not we should be in the morning. Are ya'll being good for Greg, Alice & Katie?" Addie smiled and said "Addie good girl Daddy. Not bubba!" Rebecca laughed and Addie said "Want Becca!"

     Rebecca slid next to Kyle so the kids could see them both and said "I'm here Addie." The little girl smiled and said "Becca!" They both laughed and Rebecca said "We have to get on the road so we can get back to you. We will call you this afternoon okay?" Both kids nodded and they said their I love yous before hanging up the phone. Rebecca cuddled into his arms and said "I can't wait to get home to them." He smiled and kissed her forehead, before saying "Well let's eat and get on the road Baby. The sooner we do the sooner we will be to the kids."
