      Just as they walked into the waiting room Kyle's phone rang and he looked down at it. He grinned and answered "Hey Mom, what's going on?" Rebecca smiled up at him as he ran his hand down her hair. She noticed he was frowning and she mouthed 'is everything okay?' He shrugged and said "Sure thing Mom, just drop the girls and their stuff off at the ranch. Let me know when you know something. Yeah I love you too." After he hung up Rebecca said "You look upset. What's going on?" Kyle sat next to her and slid his arm around her before replying "My Uncle isn't doing well, my parents have to make a trip down to Austin. So I get my sisters for a bit, don't worry they are good kids." Rebecca smiled and said "Kids? How old are they?" Kyle grinned and said "Molly is 14 & Lucy is 12. We usually don't see much of them when they are at the ranch, they tend to spend most of their time in the barn."

    Rebecca smiled and said "I'm sure they are great girls, just look at their big brother." He leaned over and kissed her before laughing. Alice said "So how are you going to introduce Bec? Hmm?" Kyle looked at her and said " Introduce her? Probably by her name like most people." He was purposely playing dumb , he knew what she meant but liked harassing people. She sighed and said "Men! They are teenagers Kyle, they will want to know what she is to you." He laughed and said "I knew what you meant Alice. I'm just messing with you. I'm sure Rebecca will have an opinion on how I introduce her. Right Rebecca?" She laughed and snuggled into his side. She said "Nope you are on your own there Cowboy."

     Alice looked between the two of them and said "Forget I said anything, one look at the two of you and they won't need you to tell them anything." Rebecca laughed and said "We don't have any idea what you are talking about little sister." Alice laughed and said "Bec give it up. You two look at each other like love sick teenagers. It's kinda gross but i'm glad to see you happy." Rebecca looked up at Kyle and said " We haven't talked about things yet, it's all new Al." Kyle grinned down at her, kissed her softly and whispered "Do we really need to talk about it? You know how I feel." She leaned back up to whisper in his ear "Nope I don't need to talk about it, I know where I want to be." He grinned and whispered back "Oh yeah? Where's that?" She whispered "Right here with you." He said "So about that introduction to the girls, they are going to want to know what we are. I have every intention of telling them we're together. Are you ok with that?" She grinned and said " You know I am."

     He laughed and Alice was just about to make another comment when the nurse called one of them to the phone for an update. While Rebecca took the phone for the update, Alice looked at Kyle and said "Make her happy Kyle." He replied "I intend to, every single day." Rebecca slid back in next to Kyle and said "All is going well. They have repaired two of the breaks and are now moving onto the hip." Kyle excused himself to go call the ranch and Alice said "So did you find out if they are hiring?" Rebecca laughed and said "Actually i've already done the paperwork to start the process. I should start in two weeks. Which means I have to go pack up and move everything down here, and find a place to live. Kyle says there's no need to hurry I can always stay at the ranch."

     Alice started laughing and said "I'm sure he did! You too are so cute together. I think fate had a big role in this, and i'm so glad you will be closer Bec. I've missed my sister being close and you've missed out on Bella growing." Rebecca moved over next to Alice and said "I know , I don't want my niece to not know her Auntie. I've missed you too Alice. I really think this is going to work out. Plus i'll be here to help with mom." They sat there chatting about old times and laughing until both of their stomachs hurt. Kyle came back in to them giggling like school girls and grinned. He said "What are y'all up to over there?" They both smiled and Alice said " Just talking about old times." Rebecca said "Did you check on the kids? Is Addie's numbers alright?" Kyle leaned over, kissed her and said " They are fine, and Addie and Bella have become the best of friends. Katie said Addie is helping as much as possible and Bella is crawling after Addie wherever she goes."

      The nurse called to let them know Olivia was out of surgery and doing well. They wouldn't be able to see her for another hour though. Kyle suggested a trip to the gift shop for flowers or something nice for Olivia. Alice said she would stay behind just in case they could go back sooner. As they were walking to the gift shop Kyle kept his arm around her and guided her around people. He cleared his throat and it was clear he had something on his mind. Rebecca said "Ok spill it." He said "Spill what?" Rebecca laughed and said "Whatever is on your mind Kyle, it's obvious something is going on." He grinned and said " Ok i'm just surprised how quickly things have changed is all. Heck just the other day I posted that ad. Now here you are and I can't believe it. We're pretty much unofficially together, I was just thinking about it all." She laughed and said " Unofficially together?" He blushed and said "Well, yeah I haven't exactly asked you yet." She looked slyly at him and said "Do you want to ask me?"
