I took close to 4 hours for them to completely pack the truck. When they were done and had her truck loaded on the tow dolly, Luca said "Come to the shop and we will have dinner and Kyle can look through the store." Rebecca looked at Kyle and he said "Sounds great. We can always use new books at the ranch." Rebecca said "Can I stop and pick up anything?" Luca laughed and said "No, this will be our last time seeing you for a while. It's defiantly on us! Just follow us!"

Kyle helped Rebecca up into the truck and handed her the envelope that contained the keys to her apartment, which they would drop at the office on the way out. They waved to Luca as they pulled over at the office, Rebecca turned in the keys and gave them the address to the ranch where they could mail her deposit check. Kyle was waiting by her door to open it as she walked out. She walked straight into his arms and said "Well it's official cowboy! I no longer have a home." He gave her that adorable smirk he had and said "You do have a home and as soon as were finished at Luca's we will be headed home to the ranch."

Rebecca reached up and kissed him sweetly before saying "Let's go to Luca's so you can get lost in the book store. You will have to take a brake to eat though." He laughed and lifted her up into the truck and waited until she was buckled to close the door and went to get in himself. They chatted as they drove to Travel Thru Time, Luca's bookstore. Kyle said "You know I love the name of her store." Rebecca laughed and said "I asked her about it once, she told me when she was younger she would open up a book and it was like traveling through time. So what better name for her book store?"

Kyle laughed and said " I know what she means. I always loved to read a well written story. One that sucked you into it so it seemed like you were right there with the characters. Like they were real people who you could feel their experiences and relationships. It's was a great way to pass a day." Rebecca smiled at the look on his face, she could tell he truly loved books. She said "You carried several boxes of books if you noticed. I love a good story. I have several books I saved from childhood maybe the kids will enjoy them." He grinned at the fact that she was thinking like a parent.

They found a parking spot luckily right in front of the store, and headed inside. Once they entered the smells of the kitchen drifted out towards them. Rebecca called out to let Luca know they had arrived and Luca called back "Lock the door behind you and come on into the kitchen, we know Kyle will get lost." Kyle laughed and said "Hey! I can't get too lost there are walls and my nose can find the kitchen." Both of the woman laughed and Rebecca kissed him as she headed off to the kitchen.

Kyle wondered through picking up several books and placing them at the checkout counter before making his way to the kitchen where he found the woman chatting. Lu came in and said "Pay up mom!" Rebecca started laughing and they all turned to look at the timer. Rebecca said "He's right he won the bet." Kyle said "What bet?" Rebecca started laughing so hard she couldn't answer so Lu said " They were wondering how long you would be looking at books. Mom said an hour, I said there was no way you would stay away from Rebecca that long! Mom made it a bet, She bet me five bucks that you would be in there at least an hour, I said 30-45 minutes tops... I won! You were in there 32 minutes!"

Kyle blushed a little and made his way over to Rebecca's side, before saying "That's not right." They all laughed and sat down to dinner. After they ate Kyle thanked Luca for the wonderful meal and said " I put the books I want to buy on the counter by the register. There's nothing like your store down by the ranch, we have to order mostly online." Luca said "I have an online website you know. If there's anything you really want, one of you can e-mail me and i'll see if I have it or can get it."

Kyle grinned and said "That would be great! I hate to rush but we really need to get on the road." They all made their way into the book store and Kyle made his purchase. After another round of goodbyes and promises to check in, they got in the truck for her final ride through town. Kyle reached over and laced his fingers through hers, he said "You okay Baby?" She smiled and said "I'm okay, I was saying goodbye to the town. Now let's go home Cowboy." Kyle kissed her hand and said softly "I already am home."
