      Rebecca was suppose to go back to sleep, but she couldn't help listening to him over the baby monitor playing with Addie. She figured he didn't realize he left the handheld in here next to the bed, but she smiled as he was talking about them to Addie. She heard him moving around and then saying "Come on Baby, well crud can you be super quiet?" She giggled and whispered "Quiet." He laughed and said "Good girl! I left your monitor in the spare room earlier and Rebecca and Bella are asleep in there. We don't want to wake them up alright?" She said "I be quiet Daddy."

     Kyle and Addie creeped into the room and found Rebecca awake, Kyle winked at Rebecca and Addie walked slowly towards the bed. Rebecca smiled and Addie whispered "Daddy girl awake." He smirked and said "I can see that Addie, but Bella is still asleep." She smiled at Rebecca and said "Name? Daddy?" He said "Rebecca." She turned back towards the bed and said "Hi Becca." Rebecca smiled and said "Hello Addie." Addie looked back at Kyle and said "Up on the bed Daddy?" He laughed and said "Rebecca needs sleep sweetheart. We're going to go watch cartoons in my bed."

      He sighed when he saw what he called the mule face come over his daughter and she said "No I want Becca's bed Daddy." He looked at Rebecca and shook his head. Addie said "I be quiet Daddy." Rebecca just grinned and tried to hide her laughter, when Addie turned and said "Please Becca." He saw Rebecca's entire face soften and said "How can I say no to that Kyle?" He laughed , shook his head and lifted his daughter up beside her. Then watched as Addie moved up beside Rebecca and smiled at her before laying down beside her. Rebecca covered her up and tucked her in before smiling at Kyle who looked awe struck. She wasn't sure why, but he said "I'll be right back."

     Kyle walked down the stairs and noticed Greg in the kitchen, Greg turned and said "What are you doing up?" Kyle said "I fell asleep talking to Rebecca last night, in her bed." Greg raised his eyebrow and said "Just talking?" Kyle laughed and said "Of course man, we did just meet." He said "So why the look?" Kyle said "Well Addie woke up, I went to check on her and changed her. I was taking her to my room to watch some cartoons, when I realized I had left the monitor in Rebecca's room.So we snuck in there but Rebecca was awake, she had heard us on the monitor. Anyway you know how Addie is a little stand offish at first with new people?" Greg nodded and Kyle continued "She wasn't at all, in fact she asked to get up on the bed with Rebecca and curled up to lay right next to her."

     Greg looked surprised and said "That's huge man. Either she's growing out of being shy or she instantly liked Rebecca." Kyle said "That's not all. Last night Ty met her and she had him giggling within a moment of meeting him." Greg grinned and said "Sounds like she's something special then." Kyle grinned and said "I already knew that though. She is special." Kyle walked over and grabbed Addie's sippy cup, filling it with milk. He headed up stairs and walked quietly in the door. What greeted him made him tear up, Addie and Rebecca curled up together sound asleep. He took out his phone and snapped a couple pictures before swapping out the handheld monitor for the receiver end. He took the monitor to his room so he would hear her if she woke and then laid down to sleep himself. His last thought as he fell asleep was how he wished he was in there with his girls.

          It was 2 hours later when he woke up to the sound of a baby. He got up and hurried to Rebecca's room, where he saw her and Addie still asleep. He looked down and noticed Bella looking up at him, he grinned down at her and scooped her up. Walking back downstairs he found her diaper bag and made a bottle. While he was waiting on her bottle to warm, he changed her diaper and put fresh clothing on her. She kept making raspberry noises at him, and he soon realized that was her noise when she was hungry. He settled into his rocking recliner and fed her the bottle as he rocked and sang softly to her. Once her bottle was gone and she gave a couple big burps, she settled down on his shoulder and was sound asleep. He slowly reclined and snagged a blanket to wrap around her before falling asleep himself.

       He woke up to Katie's voice talking to Greg and Alice. He looked over at them and saw the three of them staring at him. He gave them a look and whispered "Exactly why are y'all looking at me like that?" Alice whispered back "I came looking for my daughter because she's usually up by now. Ran into Greg in the kitchen, then we found you. Didn't want to wake you two." He moved slowly as to not wake Bella up, and whispered "She woke up at 8, she's been fed and changed. Figured i'd let you sleep. I'm use to being up taking care of Addie."

      Alice took her sleeping daughter and smiled, whispering "Where is Addie?" Kyle couldn't help but grin when he said "Asleep in bed with Rebecca. Seems my daughter decided after meeting her, she's her new best friend." Alice giggled and said "That's great Kyle!" Before remembering her sleeping child, she whispered "I bet Bec is happy too." He laughed softly and said "I wouldn't know. I left to get a sippy cup, came back 5 minutes later and they were both asleep. I might have taken pictures." She giggled and slapped his arm, before saying "I want to see!" He shook his head and said " Later maybe, my phone is upstairs.Katie this is Alice and Bella. You'll meet Rebecca later."

       Katie shook her head and said "I'm gone one day and missed how much? Explain?" Kyle laughed and led Katie into the kitchen as he told her how he met Rebecca. Just as they were finishing up Tyler came running down the stairs and started chattering. Kyle scooped him up and said "Settle down Bud. Rebecca, Addie and little Bella are still asleep." Tyler looked up and said "Uh -Uh Daddy. Addie isn't in her room! I checked!" Kyle laughed and said "I know Son. She fell asleep with Rebecca."

       Tyler looked up at his Dad and said "The lady from last night?" Kyle laughed and said "Yes. Now this lady over here is Rebecca's sister Alice and her daughter Bella. They are all gonna be staying with us for a while. Their Momma had an accident and is in a hospital close by." Tyler said "It's nice to meet you ma'am. I sure hope your Momma will be alright." Kyle watched as Alice's face went soft before she said "My aren't you a little gentleman. She's gonna be just fine thank you Tyler." The other adults all laughed as Kyle got Tyler set down for breakfast.

      Katie pushed Kyle away and took over breakfast preparations, as he mumbled "I can do it you know." She laughed and said "Oh Ky I know you are capable but I wouldn't do that to your guests!" He ruffled her hair as he laughed and said "You are such a Brat!" She smacked his arm as she looked up, she noticed he started grinning like a fool and staring past her. Katie turned to see a beautiful woman holding Addie, she looked back to the smitten look on Kyle's face. Laughing she shoved his shoulder and said "You're drooling." He laughed and walked past her straight to Rebecca. He took Addie and said "Did y'all sleep well?" Rebecca laughed and said "We did, then we heard all the laughter and decided to join in. Didn't we Addie?" She giggled and said "Becca!"

      Rebecca grinned and told Kyle " The hospital called Alice's cell. Mom will go into surgery at noon hopefully it won't take but a couple hours." Katie walked up and said "You must be Rebecca! So glad to meet you! I'm Katie, Greg's sister. You'll meet my husband later on." Rebecca smiled over at Katie and said "Oh Kyle told me about you! Nice to meet you!" Katie grinned and said "Oh the things I could tell you about this one." Kyle cleared his throat and said "Katlyn weren't you cooking?" Katie just smiled and said "Why Ky I was and by that tone of voice and the full name I take it you wouldn't want me telling her about the time..." Katie didn't finish because Kyle covered her mouth with his free hand and said "Unless you want to be dunked in the horse trough I suggest you don't finish that statement."

      Katie laughed and put her hands up in surrender, he released her and she mouthed GIRL TALK LATER to Rebecca. Katie said "So tell me what everyone calls you? I know Kyle says Rebecca but your sis calls you Bec and being a girl with a long name I know I don't like being called by my full name." Rebecca smiled and had a feeling they would become much better friends, she replied "Any is fine. Multiple people call me different variations. My sis and most my friends call me Bec or Becca." Katie grinned and said "Great!" She stuck her tongue out at Kyle and went back to cooking.
