After Alice and Addie went into the other room, Katie said "Tell me what's going on Becca." Rebecca sighed and said "I need to talk to Kyle but with everything that happened yesterday I don't want to wake him. She showing cardiac symptoms. I think at the very least I need to speak with her Cardiologist. She was low in her sleep last night and the night before which is to be expected. The fact that it's lower while she's awake, bothers me. Her color, heart rate, and decreased activity shows me her heart is working harder. For now we need to get her to drink, try to get her to eat something. Do you have a little scale? like for the kitchen?"

Katie said "Yes! We use to have to weigh her diapers." Rebecca smiled and said "Great, that what were going to be doing again. Only were going to put a plate or cloth over it because we need to measure her intake as well. Now as much as I don't want to I need to go talk to Kyle. Watch her for color changes, if she looks like shes struggling breath or overly tired come get me." Katie nodded and headed after Alice and Addie.

Rebecca made her way to the bathroom before waking Kyle. A few moments later she sat next to him on the bed and ran her hand through his hair. He slept on his stomach but most of the time kept attached to her in one way or another. She leaned over and whispered in his ear "Come on big guy, I need you to wake up now." He started to move around and eventually turned his head her way, before smiling and opening his eyes. He yawned and said "Why are you already awake?" She smiled and said "Addie woke me up. Come on, go freshen up and wake up. We need to talk."

She could see he came fully alert then, and he said "What's wrong?" She smiled and said "In a minute Honey. I want you fully awake." He got up and made a trip to the bathroom to wash his face and wake up. When he came back a few moments later she was sitting on the side of the bed. She patted the place next to her and he sat down. He said "Okay tell me what is going on and why you have such a serious face."

She sighed and said "I'd  like to talk with Addie's Cardiologist. Her color is a little off today, her numbers are a little low, she's showing other symptoms. I'm not worried we need to rush her in, I would like to just touch bases with him." He said "What other symptoms?" Rebecca said "She didn't eat breakfast and isn't hungry. She hasn't drank much this morning and her overnight urine output was less than normal. She slept longer than she usually does and is acting tired."

Kyle reached over to grab his cell phone to call the office and left a message with the nurse that he needed the doctor himself to call back ASAP.  All they could do now is wait to speak with the doctor and watch Addie. Rebecca went to change and head down stairs with Kyle's phone while he cleaned up just encase the doctor called. Kyle walked into the living room where Rebecca was cuddling Addie in her lap. Addie looked up and reached for him with a smile and a "Daddy!"

Kyle scooped her up and hugged her close as his phone began to ring. He answered the call and after explaining who Rebecca was, handed the phone off to her. She walked to the other room as not to upset Addie, and reviewed her notes with the doctor. He said "I was afraid she would start showing symptoms. We have her scheduled for a heart cath next Friday. I want you to watch her and if she doesn't perk up or shows more symptoms call me back. Otherwise I will call you around 5 tonight. I'm going to try to move up the heart cath and i'll let you know when I call if we got it moved up. Tell Kyle i'll talk with you this evening.  I'm going to give you my cell number, I want you to text me her vitals as you do them, i'd like them done every 4-6 hours unless she is really struggling. " He provided her with the number and hung up.

She walked back into the living room and said "Just watching her right now. He's trying to move up her heart cath. Vitals every 4-6 hours. I need to text him each time we take them or there is a change. He will call to check in around 5." She made her way to his side and he wrapped an arm around her waist. He kissed her temple and she smiled up at him before saying "No matter what the doctor says, we will get through it together."
