    They awoke to Addie giggling at the nurse, Kyle looked at his phone and realized it was 5:30 am. Rebecca went straight to her bedside and hugged her good morning. The nurse had a nasal canula over by her computer and said "Are you putting her on it now?" The nurse said "Yes, shes been dipping under 90, so the doctor ordered oxygen. With her going to the cath lab today we will leave it on her and see what the results say before we try to ween her off the oxygen."

     Kyle came over and said "Baby Girl shouldn't you be asleep?" Addie said "No sleep Daddy!" Kyle laughed and said "Okay no sleep. What about cartoons?" Addie looked up and said "Yay." Kyle switched on something she liked knowing she was fixing to do something she didn't like, but then who likes something up their nose? Rebecca smiled up at Kyle, thinking how lucky they all were.

     Between the nurse and Rebecca they got the oxygen on Addie and her settled. The nurse excused herself from the room and Addie said "Daddy!" She reached her little arms in his direction and he went to hold her on her bed. Rebecca watched them cuddle for a few moments, then told Kyle she was going to clean up. Kyle watched her close the door and smiled down at Addie. He said "Addie, would you like Rebecca to be your new Mommy?"

     Addie's eyes lit up and she smiled up at him before saying "Yes! Becca my Mommy!" Kyle hugged her tight and said "That's good, i'm glad you will be happy little girl." A little voice said "I will be happy when she's our Mommy too." Kyle grinned down at his son and said "I still have to ask her so you two can't say anything. It has to be our secret for now." Tyler nodded his head and said "What are the doctors going to do for Addie, Daddy?"

      Kyle looked at his son, who had already seen so much where his sister was concerned. He sighed and said "They have to put her to sleep and do a test today. She may have to have surgery again Buddy." Tyler looked up into his father's eyes and said "Will she be okay Daddy?" Kyle tussled his hair and said "You know Addie is a fighter Bud. She will be in good hands. Why don't you try to get a little more sleep?"

      Tyler nodded his head and turned to go back to the couch when Rebecca opened the door. The moment Tyler saw her he launched himself into her arms. She said "Hey Buddy, Now why the tears?" He softly whispered in her ear "I'm scared, what if the doctor can't fix Addie's heart?" She hugged him tight and said "Oh Sweetheart, she's right where she needs to be with something going on. You know how strong she is right?" He nodded his head and she continued "She will fight to be okay and we will be here waiting when she comes out of this test this morning. If and when she has to have surgery we will be here helping her fight too, right?" He whispered "Right."

    Rebecca got him settled on the bed and laid down next to him until he fell back asleep snuggled against her. She looked up at Kyle and caught him watching them. She smiled at him and the tender look on his face. He mouthed the words "I love you."
