Epilogue

"Bhext!" Someone shouted and so I turned my head.

"Nandito ka lang pala, bakit naman hindi mo sinasagot 'yung mga tawag ko?" She said more as she reached me.

"Nasa bag 'yung phone ko." Sagot ko naman at ibinalik ang atensyon ko sa mga bata. She hissed.

"Buti nalang tinanong ko si Mike."

"Bakit ba?"

"Anong bakit ba? Mamaya na kaya ang Alumni Homecoming." She said, raising her brows. Napatingin lang ako saglit sa kanya.

"Don't tell me, you forgot?"

"Of course, not. Where's Juvs and Xander?" I just asked, changing the topic.

"They're in the salon." Tumango tango nalang ako.

"You really love kids, noh."  And I looked at her, anew.

"You know, this had been one of the things that I've always wanted to do." I smiled.

"What more pa kaya kapag nagka-baby na kayo ni Mike." And my eyes shoot again to her.

"Your children will be so lucky. Mike is so lucky." She spoke more and I could hear how proud she is of me being her best friend. I just smiled at her.

"Anyway, nasaan na ba 'yung lalaki na 'yun?"

"Bumalik sa site. May konting concerns lang daw." And I noticed her looking at my hand and so I tried my best to get it out of her sight. Baka kung ano na naman ang itanong niya.

"How's work?" I then asked. She also started helping with giving the food to the kids.

"Stress but Enjoy naman." She sighed. Napatingin lang naman ako sa kanya lalo na nang magpatuloy siya.

"I was thinking, maybe we should put up a business. Kahit online lang muna."

"Pwede rin."

"Tara. Gawin natin 'yun. Ang hirap naman kasi maging empleyado lang forever." I only nodded in agreement. Someone then wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hi, Mrs. Sevilla." He breathed on my ear. I nervously looked at Riann then slightly tapped Mike's arm. I got out from his hold and saw my best friend, again, picking at my hand and Mike's. I tried to hide it from her and noticed her smirking at me which I just brushed off.

Suddenly, the kids saw Mike and they ran to him immediately

"Kuya Mike!!!" Mabilis naman na lumapit si Mike sa mga bata at nakipaglaro sa kanila.

"Ano?" I asked as she was again looking at me.

"Mag-anak na kaya kayo." Sagot niya. Napakunot naman ang noo ko.

"Puro ka 'baby'. Mauna nalang kayo ng Bhie mo." Balik ko naman sa kanya.

"Hindi pa nga kami kasal." And she gave me a grin and a meaningful look again. I frowned at her.

"Eh di magpakasal na kayo."

"Nasa plano'yun but not for now. Matagal pa siguro."

"Won't we get ready for the Homecoming?" Mike then asked. I looked at my watch.

"Maaga pa naman." Sagot ko.

"It's almost one na kaya." Singit naman ni Bhext.

"Don't worry, nandito naman ang mga volunteers. They can take care of the kids." I looked at them. Napatingin rin naman sila sa amin. They are a group of students from our school.

"Kami na po ang bahala, ate Cass!" They assured us. I smiled and walked to them.

"Basta, if you have any concerns just don't hesitate to call me."
