Episode 16

Kanina pa siya nakaupo sa loob ng court at naghihintay sa lalaking iyon. Though, she is not used to this, she feels like she must apologize to him for her words. Hindi niya rin naman sinasadya na sabihin ang mga salita na iyon. Masyado lang talaga siyang napapagod na sa mga nangyayari.

She has been waiting for him for almost an hour when finally he and his team came in. Maingay pa ang mga ito at nagtatawanan pero saglit na natigil nang mapansin siya.

Agad siyang tumayo at lumapit kay Mike.

"Mike." Sabi niya. Ni hindi naman siya tiningnan nito at nilagpasan lang.

"Aba may LQ" she even heard from his teammates but she just ignored them. She turned again to him. It was really hard for her to do this, hindi naman kasi siya sanay makipag reconcile like this as she never had other closed friends aside from Riann, Xander and Juvs. She first took a deep steadying breath.

"Mike, About what happened yesterday, I...." before she could finish her sentence, he cutted her off.

"You're right. I'm really becoming an intruder in your life." His voice was cold and serious. He didnt even glance at her. Her brows suddenly furrowed but she still tried to reach out to him.

"No. Hindi naman ganun ang ibig kong sabihin. Look Mike, I'm sorry. I mean it. Hindi ko talaga sinasadya."

"may practice pa kami." Tanging sagot lang naman ni Mike sa kanya.

"Ok na tayo?" She asked, hoping but she received no response.  Her patience is not really that long para manuyo. She's getting tired of his stubborness

"mike naman." Sabi niya ulit. Still, he ignored her. She closed her eyes for seconds and heaved a sigh to contain her irritation.

"Mike!"

"Umalis ka na. Magpapractice kami" sabay punta na nito sa gitna ng court hawak hawak ang bola. Sinundan niya pa rin naman ito.

"Ano bang problema mo? Nag-sorry nga na 'yung tao. Ganyan ka pa." Hindi na niya napigilan ang sarili at medyo malakas na ang boses niya. Hindi pa rin naman siya pinapansin ng lalaking kausap.

"Ano ba Mike!" She almost shouted, tapping the ball out from his hands. He glared at her. Tension then built inside. Nakatingin na ang mga ka-team mates nito sa kanila.

RIANN'S POV

"anong meron?" Xander questioned as we entered in the Court. I was about to bring my boyfriend some food when we noticed that there was a commotion.

We came nearer and the two people glaring to each other became visible.

Si Bhext!?

"what does Cass doing here? Nagaaway ba sila?" Xander again muttered. I didnt answer her and just watched them.

I even heard what Mike said na mas lalong ikinagalit ni Bhext.

"Just leave me alone!" I noticed na saglit pang nabigla si Bhext. Her eyes turned suddenly to the crowd before bringing it back to Mike. She grabbed his arm and was about to take him somewhere but he refused. She frowned at him. Honestly, that had been the only time again that I saw her like that. She normally doesnt care to anyone except for us of course, pero sa isang lalaki? That's new.

I saw her mumbled some words pero hindi ko na naintindihan. Tinalikuran siya ni Mike pero iniharap niya ito sa kanya and the next scene was so unexpected.

"Kasi nagseselos ako! I'M FUCKING JEALOUS!"

"...Naiinis ako kapag magkasama kayo! Naiinis ako kapag siya ang iniisip mo when you are with me! I hate when you undoubtedly ignore me just because you are so excited to be with him! NAIINIS AKO KASI MAHAL MO SIYA." Lahat nagulat sa sinabi ni Mike. Medyo dumami na rin ang mga estudyante.

"For fuck's sake. I Love you! Pero hindi mo naman ako kayang mahalin di ba? Hindi mo siya kayang iwan para sa akin. So please..." He closed his eyes first and titled his head before spitting his last words.

"Stay away with me..."

And he left her, standing there.

Murmuring then began to form. At gustong gusto kong sakalin itong mga taong 'to for all the awful things they said about my best friend. Judgmental freaks.

Napansin ko naman na naglakad na rin si Bhext palabas ng court. I want to praise her for acting like nothing happened. She walked away, quickly but gracefully.

"Iba talaga ang ganda ni Cass." Biglang sabi ni Xander kaya napabaling ako sa kanya. She also looked at me with her brows wiggling.

"The University's Certified Heart breaker, napaibig niya. Now, we just need to make the feelings mutual." She even continued. I sighed and began to walk.

"How we even gonna do that? Kilala mo naman si bhext."

"Effort. Duh. Everyone loves effort."

"Well, yeah. Good luck. " sabi ko nalang.

I hope, with what happened malinawan na kahit kaunti lang si bhext, na meron pang mga tao na mas worth it mahalin kasya sa mukhang kabute na yun.
