chapter 55

I came out of the bathroom and walked down to find harry unpacking the rest of the plates,

'nice clothes sweetie' he smiled at me placing a plate in the cupboards.

I had a white embellished trim top on with dark blue jeggings and converse.

'thanks harry, I'm going into the living room if you need me' I said and walked out of the room.

'charlotte, wait' harry called out, I popped my head over the door making my back hurt.

'yeah' I smiled at him. he walked over to me handing me a blindfold

'what's this for?'

'turn around'

I didn't hesitate, I turned around and he put the blindfold on me, he grabbed my hand, I heard a door open and then a gust of wind hit my head.

'watch your step' harry said

I flung my arm around and then I felt harry grab it.

'I have you' he chuckled.

I felt another gust of wind hit me.

'okay, do you want to know what your birthday surprise is?'

'yes' I said jumping up and down a little.

he undone the blindfold and I opened my eyes, I found myself in the garden, I looked down to see who was grabbing my foot and there was the tiniest dog. I placed myself on the floor and sitting down was a little golden Labrador.

'oh my god, it is the best present ever' I turned my head and smiled at harry

'happy birthday sweetie' he smiled back, I turned back around picking up the small puppy and held it like a baby.

'what its name?'

'its a little boy and its up to you'

'mm, how about buddy?'

'buddy it is then' he said leaning in and kissing me, the dog barked and we pulled away.

'is all the attention on you now little buddy?' I said stroking his belly.

'come on, better get inside, there are plenty more surprises coming ahead' he winked at me.

'more surprises, I'm getting treated today!' I said walking back into the house still holding the dog like a baby.

'hurry up!' harry shouted from upstairs

I was still figured out what to wear as nothing fits me anymore as the baby bump is bigger than ever.

'nothing fits me any more harry!' I yelled.

'well, just pick something' he shouted back up.

'ugh, just hold on'

I pulled out a light pink lace skater dress and some light pink converse, once I found the perfect outfit I got ready

we jolted forward and then the car came to a stop, I looked out of the window to see a pub.

'the old warrior, well this seems nice' I smiled at him, we got out of the car, I took his hand as we entered the building.

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' the place lit up and the place was filled with family and friends, birthday banners saying 'happy 17th birthday charl' and there was balloons, food and lots of little gifts.

moments later music boomed out of the stereo, I looked back towards harry with a massive smile on my face.

'you did all this for me' tears started to come to my eyes.

'well with a bit of help from you mum' I turned around to see my mother in a black lace bodycon dress.

'thank you mum' I said running over to her and giving her the biggest hug ever.

'ah, no worries you are only 17 once, do you want a drink?'

'yes please, of coke' I shouted over the music.

mum went off and people started come over giving me hugs and kisses, wishing me a happy birthday and giving me gifts.

in a distance I saw ella, I walked over to them giving ella a hug.

'hey!' I said shouting over the music.

'hey, I love your dress'

'ah thanks, it was on offer is new look' I winked at her

'ahh, so harry did all of this?' she said searching the room.

'well, with a bit of a hand off my mum, oh my god he got me a puppy, a golden Labrador, his names buddy, you need to come around ella, he's gorgeous'

'oh my god, wish my boyfriend would do something like that?'

I scrunched my eyebrows together and gave her a confused look, out of no where james came out and put his arm around ella, he looked straight into my eyes.

'oh hey bud, cool party!' he shouted out over the music

'wow whats going on here? are you with her?'

'well if you can see my arm around her shoulder we are together'

'oh yeah, well see you around'

I walked off feeling suddenly very sick, the music stopped and I looked around finding the room spinning.

the track changed to happy birthday and then I looked straight over to my mum who was holding a very large cake.

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU' everyone shouted and seconds later they all stopped, every pair of eyes where on me, I closed my eyes and blew out a ton of candle, they all cheered and the music went on again.

I felt very hot and flushed, I felt like I was about to faint.

'are you okay' I felt someone whisper in my ear,

I turned around and then it hit me, I fell to the ground.
