On with the story.

Kei's POV

" The serum tanks pressure needs to be monitored every 15 minutes on the dot", Kei explained to Sidon (one of his lab technicians).

Nirvanna swam in and placed her arms around Sidon's waist.

"We still on for lunch babe?", she asked swimming circles around him.

"Nirvanna how many times h-", she stopped mid circle in front of Kei.

"I know, I know I'm leaving", with one last wink to Sidon she left the lab.

Rolling his eyes Kei got back to observing the serum.

"Everything appears to be constant, but you'll be here to check so I won't worry about that. You'll need to add the strength inducing steroids when the tamk is almost at its highest capacity".

Sidon tediously jotted down everything that Kei said to him.

"We're are you going anyways", Sidon asked Kei.

Kei turned his back to Sidon thinking up a reasonable answer.

"I.....". He said not knowing what to say.

Knock knock

Kei looked gratefully at the door and nodded for Sirus to come in.

"My lord", Sidon bowed.

Sirus nodded towards him and turned to Kei.

"See this", he spoke gesturing towards the envelope in his hands.

Kei studied it.

"What about it", he answers.

Sirus opened the envelope and showed the declaration. The declaration of war on Rouge Nation.

"Oh no", Kei gasped bumping into a table.

"Kei", Sidon interrupted.

"Not now Sidon ", Kei yelled hurrying out the door after Sirus.

"But...", Sidon called as he watched the rest of the purple liquid pour into the serum.

The pressure meter of the tank rose to its highest measurement and the contents started to bubble turning into a steam like smokiness.

Nirvanna swam in to see all of the gas filling the room.

"What the", she yelled as Sidon came forward, grabbed her hand and pulled her from the room.

"Where's Kei, oh no please Nirvanna.

She was silent.

"Nirvanna", he yelled taking of his mask and shaking her around.

Nothing.

Laying her to the floor he lifted up her head to listen for her breathing. She was!

A feeling that something horrible was going to happen filled Sidon as he quickly scooped up Nirvanna in his arms and swam the length of the corridor.
