"I cannot believe you got a cat." You laughed, watching Dal lay on the floor with the small kitten on his chest.
"She was meowin' at me, basically yelling at me. I thought she had a lot in common with you, so I brought her home." He smirks and you roll your eyes.

"Steve, you can't even take care of yourself. How are ya gonna watch a dog?" You sighed, bending down to pet the adorable dog.
"C'mon babe, she's gonna go to work with me and everything!" He exclaimed and the dog began to wag her tail.
"Fine, but don't let her roam free." You ordered and he smiled.

"She just follows me everywhere." Johnny shrugs as the black cat nuzzled in between you two.
"Awe she claimed you." You laughed making him roll his eyes.
"Gotta say she's a pretty cat, I think I've seen her roaming near Buck's." You add.
"What were you doing at Buck's?" Johnny asked loudly, waking the cat and earning a cold glare from it.
You laughed as the cat gave Johnny the stank eye and went back to sleep.

"You know we can't afford a dog, Pony!" Darry huffed as you dried off the puppy.
"Darry, I couldn't just leave it whimpering in the rain! I ain't cold and heartless!" Pony fought back.
The puppy walked up near Darry and shook water all over him, making him scowl at the dog.
"Come on Dare." You smile encouragingly.
"I ain't cleaning up after it." He sighs and Ponyboy pulls you into a victory kiss.
Oh, and Darry ended up taking care of the puppy like it was his own kid.
