- He may be the father of the gang, but he was one of the biggest goofballs you'll ever meet - Darry is always trying to sneak up and scare you - It was his best "prank" - While he cooks dinner you always walk up behind him and wrap your arms around his waist - Sometimes you'd cook dinner when Darry was tired and he'd do the same to you - You instantly looked after the two younger Curtis brothers like they were your own brothers - Darry loved that about you - He's always super rough with everyone besides you - One time he arm wrestled Steve and Steve almost cried - When he's in a good mood he'll pick you up out of nowhere and spin you around - He can pick you up and will do it when he wants - When he's sad he'll just pick you up in a hug and it makes him feel better - He's like a huge teddy bear - The gang always went to you when they needed help with something - You never really had to prove yourself to the gang, you only had to prove yourself to Soda and Pony - Which Sodapop thought you were awesome because you helped him cook up weird concoctions the first time you came over - Ponyboy was a little harder to get through to - You yelled at Darry for arguing with Pony over small things and Pony began to appreciate you for it - You and Darry became the power couple of the greasers - Soda always said you two bickered like an old married couple - Darry's favorite thing to do is sit on his recliner with you - He also loves dancing around the kitchen - When Darry was stressed you made him go to bed early and you watched over the gang - Usually he'd toss you over his shoulder and tell the boys to stay out of trouble - Darry liked falling asleep with you in his arms - Which led to you moving in with the Curtis brothers - Soda and Pony didn't mind, Darry was happier and not so cold when you were around - He was also more lenient with Pony and the whole gang in general - Every morning you would make breakfast for the gang while he got ready - He loved seeing you walk around in one of his old high school t-shirts - Darry also loved watch you dance - The gang would groan and make puking noises anytime Darry would start getting handsy or start kissing your neck - You'd both laugh and you'd tell him that you two would finish later
