I went straight to our home after I talked to the big bosses. They gave me a day to rest before we start the given assignment.

"Nahimasmasan na ba ang utak mo o nabaliw ka na rin gaya ni Jenny?" Pukaw ni Mia sa'kin habang tinutulungan ako sa pag-iimpake. Napatigil naman ako sa pag-iisip at napatingin rito.

"Na-inlove ka na ba?" I asked her. She just paused for a while then stared at my face. She gave me a look then rolled her eyes after.

"Why do you ask?" She asked me with another question then laughed but her eyes widened like she realized something.

"I'm not, okay? I'm just, uh...well, they say---what the hell Mia!" Napamura ako ng bigla siyang lumapit at inilagay ang kamay nito sa noo ko. She examined my whole body like I came from an accident. She even checks my eyes, then my pulse on my wrist.

"Buhay ka pa naman..." She murmured and I raised my hand to give her a light slap on her arms. Balewala lang naman ito sa kanya at nagpatuloy sa pagkuha ng aking pulso kaya lumayo na ako rito at umiling.

"Stop it." I told her. She gave me a smirk then tapped my forehead. "Ano ba!"

"Love is Kier." She answered me seriously. Naglakad siya papunta sa kama ko at naupo. Ako naman ay sinundan siya ng tingin at napatawa.

Ulol. Love is Kier daw? What the fuck? Paano naman 'yun? Love is sacrifice nga 'dba? Naku naman Mia, 'yan ang epekto ng hindi nakikipag-usap sa karamihan.

"Love is what Kier did years ago." I frowned after hearing her explanation but she raised her hands to stop me from butting in. "And love is what you felt when he told you, you need to go through it all alone." She continued. I gave her a face again.

What the hell is she saying? I don't even understand. Mga problema lang naman ang sinasabi ni Mia. Tsk.

"Oo na. 'Yun na kahit hindi ko gets. Tulungan mo na ako." Yaya ko at iwinaksi ang mga memoryang gusto kong kalimutan. Kung ano man ang pilit na ipinapaintindi ni Mia sa'kin, isa lang 'yung sigurado ko.

Nasasaktan ako. Ang bigat ng nararamdaman ko at parang gustong sumabog ng puso ko tuwing maaalala ko na si Kier ang dahilan lahat ng 'to.

"Nadie, I really like Kier for you ever since but I still want to tell you that don't wait for the day that he'll turn his back to you. Appreciate what he did and understand him, between his lines." Biglang nagsalita si Jenny na natutulog kanina kaya napabaling kaming dalawa ni Mia sa kanya.

She smiled a bit. "I'm not saying anything against you but I really feel Kier. I secretly offered my own happiness to the person whom I can never call mine. Nadie, magdesisyon ka hindi dahil nasasaktan ka kundi dahil alam mo ang tama. Hindi madali ang mabalewala sa isang taong sinakripisyuhan mo ng sobra. Hindi 'yun madali." Puno ng hinanakit na sabi ni Jenny sa'kin kaya wala rin akong hindi nagawa kundi maiyak sa sinapit niya. Hindi ko alam kung para saan ang iyak ko. Basta naramdaman ko ang bawat salitang inilahad nito.

"And I hope you can understand my side too. Hindi sa lahat ng larangan ay magaling ako. At ginawa niya ang mga bagay na ayoko." Paliwanag ko. Hindi siya nagsalita at tumunganga lang sa labas ng bintana ko.

Mia took a deep sigh.

"And Nadie, I just want to update you. Uuwi na daw si Kier sa kanila." She said and I felt my body stiffened. Pasimple akong tumingin rito at tumango.

"That's good." I whispered but my heart's shouting otherwise. She cleared her throat then opens her mouth again.

"He also said that you're still his forever gorgeous and smart Nadie baby."
