'Can I come back to yours?' Daniel asked as we walked out of the shopping centre.

'Sure, I'm not doing much there anyway.' I nodded.

Daniel followed me into my room and threw himself on the bed.

'Make yourself at home.' I said sarcastically.

'Thanks, I'll do just that.' He grinned.

I rolled my eyes and started tidying my room since it had got a bit cluttered.

'You want me to help?' Daniel asked.

I stared at him. 'Since when do you clean?'

'Hey, just trying to be helpful.' He shrugged.

'Are you sure "helpful" is even in your vocabulary?' I joked.

'Can I borrow your laptop K?' He asked.

'I knew you were after something.' I shook my head. 'Go on then.'

While Daniel was on my laptop, I decided to do a wardrobe clear out. I grabbed all of my clothes out my wardrobe and dumped them on my bed. Then I started sorting through them.

This red dress was too short for me now. I threw it to the side to be thrown out.

By the time I was halfway through, the only things I had on the side to throw out was my red dress, some jeans and a lace top. And I still had loads of clothes.

Ah well. Better to be safe than sorry.

'Erm.... Katherine...?' Daniel sounded nervous. I turned around to see him staring at a folder on my laptop.

'What?' I frowned.

'You... you know your science project..?' He started.

'What about it?' I stared at him.

'You had two copies of it, right...?' He said.

'No, I didn't, why? What have you done? Please tell me you have not deleted it!!' I panicked now.

'It was an accident!' He defended.

I rushed over and started scrolling through all my files. 'Dammit Daniel!! That's due by the end of the month!! What the hell? How the fuck did you even manage to delete it?'

'I have no idea! I am so sorry K!' He looked genuinely guilty.

I sighed and sat on the edge of my bed. 'You owe me much than ice-cream for this.' I glared at him.

'I promise I will make it up to you.' He promised.

'You'd better. As for my project... Well, I don't know. I am so totally screwed.' I sighed again. 'And I told Mr Varner I would have it handed in soon.'

'Hey, do you want me to tell Mr Varner that it was me who accidentally deleted your project? Then it'll be me getting into trouble, not you.' He offered.

'Thanks Daniel, that helps!' I said sarcastically. 'I needed that project to get an A+ in science. What the hell am I going to do?'
