A/N;
Hey guys, I've decided to skip the part where Nick and Rebecca find out about Will's rare blood condition as I didn't know how to do this, so I've skipped to where they go to Peterson for help. Sorry, but hope you enjoy the chapter anyway.

'What are we going to do if this Peterson guy can't help us?' Rebecca asked worriedly as I drove us down to the farm across town, where Professor Peterson lived.
A doctor at the hospital had quietly recommended him to go to for help.
'He has to.' I said reassuringly. 'He will, don't worry.'
We soon arrived and we walked to the door and Nick knocked.
He soon answered. He was a man in his thirties, with dark hair and dark eyes. 'Yes?' He said questioningly.
'Are you Professor Peterson?' Rebecca asked.
'Erm... Yes... Why do you ask?' He asked.
'We need your help.' I blurted. 'I'm Nick and this is my wife, Rebecca.'
'O-kay... Come in.' He frowned slightly.
We went inside and into the spacious living room.
'Please, sit, and we can talk.'
So we all sat down and Peterson made some drinks.
'Okay, why do you need my help?' He asked politely.
'As you can see, Rebecca is pregnant with our first child.' I said. 'We went for a scan the other day, and it showed that our son has a... Rare blood condition and he could die. We were told that you could help him.'
Peterson looked thoughtful. 'I can help...'
'-You can?' Rebecca interrupted. 'How?'
'... It's a complicated process...' He answered.
'What do you mean?' I frowned. 'What is this treatment?'
'Nanobots. Tiny robots.' He announced.
I raised an eyebrow. 'Nanobots? You've actually made nanobots?'
'Erm, yes, but-'
'And they can help Will?' Rebecca said. 'But, how do they do that?'
'Erm, they live inside the body, and repair cell damage.' Peterson explained. 'But-'
'Great, we'll do that then.' I nodded.
'There's just one small problem...' He said slowly.
'What's that?' We both stared at him.
'It's a new kind of treatment.' He explained. 'And, it's still... Erm... Untested.'
'What do you mean by untested?' I frowned.
'I'm still not sure if it's safe to use. It's still undergoing experimental procedures.' He told us.
'Experimental...? No.' I shook my head.
'Why not?' Rebecca asked. 'Surely it's a risk worth taking?'
I stared at her. 'Rebecca, are you out of your mind?? It's untested!'
'You don't know if it'll work though!' She said.
'Beck's, in case you forgot, I'm an engineer at Calimov Systems!' I reminded her. 'I know what I'm talking about.'
'You're an engineer at Calimov Systems?' Peterson asked in interest. 'I know Mary Douglas, the CEO.'
I forgot he was there. 'Erm, sorry for wasting your time.' I said. 'We won't be going through with it.'
'I understand, and I completely don't blame you.' He nodded. 'But if you ever change your mind...' He handed Rebecca a small card with his number on.
Once me and Rebecca were outside, she turned on me. 'Why did you just do that?' She said furiously. 'What the hell are we going to do now??!'
'Don't worry, we'll find another way to save him, okay?' I reassured her. 'But not this way. It's too dangerous.'

Fanfiction'I am so sorry!' The dark haired asshole apologised as my books tumbled to the floor. 'Whatever.' I sighed and picked them up. 'Next time, look where you're going.' 'I am, really sorry.' He looked genuinely concerned. 'Are you alright?' 'Yeah, I'm...
