2 months later
There was a dorm party and me, Ramona and Nick were hanging out. Ramona had forgiven Nick for calling me names.
'Hey Kath.' Jake said as he came over.
'Hey Jake.' I said casually.
'So...' He smiled. 'What do you say to coming to my room with me? And having a little fun.'
I saw Nick stiffen beside me. I frowned. Why was it any of his concern?
'You know what I say Jake?' I turned to him. 'Fuck off.'
As I walked away, I heard him declare, 'She loves me!' And Ramona laughed.
I rolled my eyes. Deluded asshole. I decided to call it a night and go back to my dorm.
Just as I got outside, my phone rang.
It was dad. I pressed answer. 'Hello?'
'Hey sweetheart, I've got good news.' He said.
'Ooh, good news?' I grinned. 'Go on.'
'I've spoken to the board members and they've agreed that as soon as you've left university, you've got a job!' He announced.
I hate to admit, that at that moment, I started jumping up and down, squealing.
