Daniel's POV
I arrived at Joe's and knocked.
Ellen, Joe's sister answered the door. 'Oh, hey Danny, come in, Joe and Nick are in the living room.'
'Thanks.' I went to the living room where Nick and Joe were playing on the Xbox. 'Hey guys.'
'Hey dude.' Joe looked up. 'We're playing Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. You joining?'
'Sure.' I picked up a third controller and turned it on as Joe set up the next team death-match.
'How was homework club?' Nick asked.
'Boring as fuck.' I pulled a face. 'Well at least I helped K finish her essay. So she was happy.'
'I could have helped her you know.' Nick replied. 'Didn't she want to come over?'
'She fancied a quiet night.' I answered.
'And I thought she was ditching the nerdy stuff.' Joe joked.
'I'll tell her you said that.' I grinned.
'You wouldn't dare. You know how easily offended she can get sometimes. She'll murder me in my sleep.' Joe laughed.
'I'll tell her you're both talking about her.' Nick piped up. 'Then watch what she'll do.'
'Hey, stop defending her.' I slapped him in the head.
'Someone's got to.' He muttered.
'Are you being serious?' I frowned. 'Mate, we were only joking, jeez!'
'I know that.' He turned red.
We stared at him. 'Nick, are you... Okay?'
'You like Katherine, don't you?!' Joe guessed. 'Oh my daze, you do as well! Don't you?'
'What?' I said in disbelief.
'No, shut up.' Nick muttered.
'Nick...' I raised my eyebrows.
'Okay, fine, I do like her, okay?' He admitted. 'I realised I did at the party.'
'Well, she was looking pretty hot.' Joe said.
'You both can't tell her though!' Nick said. 'You have to keep quiet about this. If she knew, it could ruin my friendship with her.'
'Okay, fine, my lips are sealed.' I shrugged.
'Same dude, I won't say anything.' Joe agreed.***

Fanfiction'I am so sorry!' The dark haired asshole apologised as my books tumbled to the floor. 'Whatever.' I sighed and picked them up. 'Next time, look where you're going.' 'I am, really sorry.' He looked genuinely concerned. 'Are you alright?' 'Yeah, I'm...
