Luckily Nick believed me when I told him that I called Joe and Daniel.
The next day I was walking out of engineering when Nick came to meet me there.
'Hey gorgeous.' He said, wrapping his arms around me.
'How was your lesson?''Ugh, I'm just glad it's over.' I kissed him.
'How about we go to my room, yeah? We'll watch a movie and eat chocolate. And I'll give you a shoulder massage.' He suggested.
'Now that I can't refuse.' I smiled.
'Is your coursework really stressing you out?' He asked, as we walked to his dorm.I sighed. 'That's an understatement. It's pissing me off.'
'I could talk to Mr Scott if you want, ask him to lift some of the pressure?' He offered.
'Thanks, but no thanks. I don't want to affect the results I get.' I smiled.
'I'm sure you'll do good, you always do.' He kissed the top of my head. 'Oh yeah, I got a text from Rebecca last night. She's got a receptionists job at Calimov.'
I knew that Nick and Rebecca were still friends, and it didn't bother me, but I was in a weird mood today, and as soon as Nick said that, jealousy rose up in me.
Especially when my dream was to work at Calimov.
'Oh, that's nice for her.' I forced a smile.
But knowing me, Nick saw right through me. 'Don't worry, you'll still be able to work there.' He laughed. 'Your dad's helping you out.''Yeah, true.' I smiled.
When we got to his room and Nick put on my favourite movie, got a bag of chocolate and I relaxed as he gave me a shoulder massage.
'Babe, a good technique of relaxing is to make sure you organise your coursework and do it little by little.' He said. 'That's what I did when I was doing my exams.'
Of course he did. Because he was perfect. I rolled my eyes.
'Oh, yeah, there's a dorm party tonight at this dorm and anyone's invited. So you and Ramona can go if you want.' He told me.
'Cool.' I smiled. 'I could do a bit of fun. You're coming, right?'
'Of course, my sweet princess.' He grinned.
