Finally, the playlists are here! Well, a first few that is. Let's begin!

---

1: Novo Amor - Carry You
I don't exactly know why I decided this song would be on Ellie's playlist. Novo Amor's songs are always so passionate sounding with a gentle nature behind them, too. She'd listen to their songs for hours, if she wanted.
Here you have Carry You. I believe the song is about nostalgia of a certain time of your life, and carrying it with you always. But I'd like for you all to interpret it however you want. That's what songs are made for.

2: Local Natives - Mt. Washington
LOL don't mind the Shutterstock logo in the video.
If you're wondering, yes I did find this song via the game Life is Strange. When I was making this playlist, I immediately thought this song needed to be on it. Not only is it Ellie's style, but the theme of the song is lost love, or remembering the love that you don't have. It haunts you, because the feelings you had were real and unforgettable, and feelings never fade away. Maybe memories do, but feelings keep you up at night. I guess this could relate to Ellie, in a way. Idk, what do you all think?

3: Koda - Limnos
It takes a while for the lyrics to kick in, but in the meantime, you can sit back and chill out while the intro plays out and whisks you away to a faraway land. Well, at least that's what this song does for me.
I don't know what the message behind the song is, but Ellie would love it anyway. For her, this would be one of those songs you just have to have on your playlist.

4: Adib Sin - From Here (ft. Cae)
This is such a cute sounding, upbeat song. So pure and feel good.~
Behind the cuteness is a message that I feel pertains to Ellie. There's the feeling of knowing someone so well, you can sense their struggles and emotions even when far apart. And there's the feeling of having someone know you so well that they become a part of you, in a way. And even the bad things in life seem to be diminished knowing you still know that person and they know you. This is Jeff and Ellie. This is what their love is to them.

5: Asking Alexandria - Someone, Somewhere (Ben Bruce Acoustic)
Yo, throwback to Killer Protector, amirite? (Remember that one chapter??)
It's been so long since I've listened to AA, no less any other metal bands I was a fan of back then. Nowadays it's EDM and other alternative genres. But here's throwback to the good ol' KP days.
I feel this song has a place in Ellie's heart. She's always had trouble finding her place. This bittersweet, hopeful song embodies her need to find a home where she belongs, especially in a life that throws her every which way.

6: In This Moment - The Fighter
This is the only intense, rock song on this playlist, but it's fucking amazing.
I didn't use a lyric video because this is a song that you've just gotta LISTEN to and take in.
I looooove In This Moment, and Marina Brink is about the best god damned female vocalist in the rock genre. Only she can ever pull of the elegance of her voice.
The Black Widow album was always my inspiration when it comes to Ellie's evil side. The intensity of her demented character becomes all the more intense when I'm listening to the album's songs, especially with songs like Big Bad Wolf and Sick Like Me (which I recommend you listen to, as well; they're fuckin masterpieces).
Not only is this song such an amazing anthem to Ellie's demented side, but it portrays her overall struggles to overcome every hardship that she's faced. She is a fighter, and this song emphasizes as such.

7: Yoe Mase - Despite All
Lets face it, Jeff and Ellie aren't exactly the perfect couple. They've had their annoying moments, and their bouts of disagreement. They know they shouldn't be cut out for relationships, yeT THERE THEY GO. But even with the fights they get into and the struggles they face, they still love each other. Despite everything. Despite all.
This song is kinda that reminder and motivation for Ellie to keep working hard knowing she loves Jeff so much and that he loves her equally.

8: Vancouver Sleep Clinic - Someone To Stay
Ahh, this is such a beautiful song. Thanks YT Recommendations.~
Again, this is one of those songs that could revolve around Jeff and Ellie. Another ode to the hardships they've faced together or apart. Another ode to the hope that they'll have each other to lean on at the end of the day, when the hard work is done and they can rest their weary bones.

9: Sleeping At Last - I'll Keep You Safe
Another pretty and emotional song, WHOO!
I'd like to think that when Ellie listens to this song, she pictures it as a message from Jeff. Not actually a message from him, but his feelings towards her, ya know? It's like a song of encouragement and security when he's not around, or when she doesn't have anyone to hold onto but herself. And sometimes that's enough to keep her going.

10: ILIVEHERE - Coming Home
Sheepy provides!~
Although this song doesn't have diverse lyrics, I still recommend you LISTEN to the melody and rhythms and words carefully, just because it's such a beautiful and majestic song.
Again, this is another song that highlights Ellie's need to find a place where she belongs. She's on her journey to find her home, jumping over obstacles and prevailing through so much hardship. She's fighting, and fighting, and fighting, holding the hope of knowing she'll make it somewhere. And eventually, she'll come to the end of her journey, content and at peace with herself.
Because she's finally home.

That's it for Ellie's playlist. Next up is Jeffery's, so prepare for badassery! (Well, maybe you'll think his playlist is badass once it's out...)

Thanks for checking this out! See ya!~
