Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've had a personal thing on here. And if you're wondering, YES I'm STILL working on character playlists. Ao's and Jack's will be our soon, I just need to make sure I've got the right songs!

Anyway, let's get started!

First up is...

Mob Psycho 100

That show was...WOW.

Not only was the story amazing and hilarious throughout the entire first season, but the animation matched the quirkiness and intensity of the show. Often times, you'll see pencil drawing animation, which is something you rarely see in other anime nowadays since every studio makes sure to make their animations clean. This show didn't give a fuck though. And it worked! My favorite characters are obviously Mob and Reigen. Mob is my sweet, psychic bean who can go OP on your ass if you do a wrong move. Reigen is his teacher who's pretending to be psychic to make money and is somehow still doing well?? And for the first time ever, I actually like this show's English dub. Reigen's VA just SELLS it like no tomorrow and it's great.

91 Days

I already made a separate segment about this show, but I'll say it again--I loved it. An anime set in the 1920s with mafias, and prohibition, and gun fights and spicy betrayal? Perfect! (If you'd like, check out the rant if you haven't.)

Basically, this guy Angelo sees his family get murdered by men of the the Vanetti family and he becomes orphaned at a young age. Later, when he's an adult, he gets an anonymous letter saying he has a chance to get revenge and kill the entire Vanetti family off by infiltrating their family under the new name Avilio. Guess what yo boy does?

It sucks that the show didn't get as much attention as it deserves. It's honestly amazing and so well animated and the story telling is fluid. You get attached to Avilio (or Angelo) without getting much insight on his character, other than that he's intelligent, badass, manipulative asf, and out for revenge. And the other dude, Nero, was also really rad and it sucks that throughout the entire show you know that Avilio's mission is still to kill the Vanetti family, thus he has to kill Nero, which he's done a great job of getting close with. The ending fucked me up too anD I STILL CANT GET OVER IT TO THIS DAY, LIKE DAMM.

Next is:

Yuri!!! On Ice

Do I even have to explain?

Even though the show didn't have as much focus on the ice skating sport as it did on the development of Viktor and Yuri's relationship, I still think it's a phenomenal show. The animation was pretty and it did well to showcase all of these different skating routines. It did a good job of queer baiting at first, uNTIL IT ACTUALLY GOT GAY AND EVERYTHING MADE SENSE. I'll never get over this show. It like, broke boundaries and LITERALLY MADE HISTORY LIKE THE OPENING SAYS. We all got PRANKED, and in the best way. Viktor and Yuri are my most precious couple and I cannot wait for Season 2. I still cry over their ending duet skate to this day... So beautiful...

Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World

Aside from the fact that this show became a popular anime and got a lot of attention and shade in a very 'Sword Art Online-way', I still loved it. Again, like I always say, the animation was so clean and pretty, and the character designs were excellent...aside from Subaru's because he's supposed to look like an average dude. The concept of dying and respawning to a past moment in your life, like a video game checkpoint, and being able to try and change horrible outcomes before they happen is extremely intriguing and, at times, confusing. But the show makes it work. It's such an eerie thing to watch a character die or watch characters become savages in one outcome, when they're sweet people before then. Can't wait for another season, since the first season was actually a prologue in the manga.
