A/N Gaahhh!!!! It's been WWWAAAYYYY too long since I've updated, and I severely apologize for that! But here's a nice long update for you and I promise that I will try to update a little more often.

She was cold. So cold. And wet. Cold and wet. Ugh.

Brianna splashed through a puddle as the rain poured down. It was two o clock in the morning, and she was still no closer to finding Magnus. She had already gone through the entire city, and there wasn't even a trace of him.

What if she couldn't find him? Then Alec would die, and Magnus would be so broken that he couldn't do magic, and he wouldn't protect Brianna and then Lizzy would find her and she would kill her and Brianna would die alone and cold by her own family and no one would ever know what happened to her and-

No. No, she couldn't think like that. She had to keep hoping. Too many people were relying on her. Alec didn't have much time.

Brianna turned down another ally, and looking around to make sure no one was watching, snapped her fingers. A bright golden light shone from her palm. She spread her hands open, and raised it up over her head, covering the entire ally in brilliant golden sparkles. But none of the gold turned blue, winch meant that Magnus hadn't been here either. With a howl of frustration, Brianna lowered her hand.

Where would Magnus have gone?! Brianna tried to think. If she were Magnus, where would she go? Magnus was a warlock, who was clearly just coming into his powers, he had just exploded, twice, his best friend, and probably the love of his life was dyeing in a hospital, and he thought it was his fault, he was scared and alone, and thought he would hurt everyone he came near.

One could go mad from all that stress, unless. Unless they had help.... help from another warlock... one who was experienced in magic, and knew how to train.....

Brianna's face paled to the color of milk. If her suspicions were correct, then... she had to find Magnus as soon as possible! Now, not only was Alec in danger of dyeing, Magnus was in danger of being killed.

And Elizabeth would show no mercy.
