A/N Umm forget about that whole "long chapter" thing. Instead, you'll be getting multiple updates today!

Izzy looked at Simon, with a look of pure.... well there is no emotion that describes her face. Sort of a combination between disgust, horror, hatred, and... joy.

"Let me get this straight." she said. You want me, to pretend to be your girlfriend, and then break up with you, but your only doing this to show Clary that your over her, even though your not, and you want me to break up with you only when Clary understands that you like her as a friend, and only a friend?"

Simon looked at her with a serious face.

"Yes."

Izzy stared at him. And laughed. She laughed and laughed and laughed. She couldn't stop, and tears ran down her cheeks.

"Why are you laughing? I'm serious! I need to do this for Clary. She's my best friend, and she deserves better than a geeky guy as her best friend, who has a crush on her when she is clearly in love with a hotter, funnier, smarter, cooler guy.

Izzy slumped down to the floor, still laughing. She couldn't breath! What Simon was suggesting was stupid, ignorant, idiotic, and a down right bad idea. It was perfect!

"Fine!" Simon said angrily. "If you really think it's that stupid an idea, I'll find d someone else to do it." He started to walk out.

"Simon wait!" gasped Izzy.

He turned around hopefully.

"This idea is stupid, idiotic, ignorant, and we're bound to get caught."

Simon looked down at the floor, frowning, and he started to turn around again.

"When can we start?"

His head whipped around. "Seriously? Your ok with this?"

Izzy nodded, smiling as she wiped that last of the tears off her face.

"You love Clary, but you don't want to hurt her. Your sacrificing your happiness for hers. I can always get behind an idea like that. "

Simon looked at her like she was crazy. "O,Ok." he stuttered.

"You won't have to pretend for long, just until Clary gets the message that I'm over her."

Izzy walked over to Simon, running her finger down his chest. Simon gulped nervously.

"Oh Simon." she purred. "If we're really going to do this..."

She pushed him against the doorframe.

"Why pretend?"

And then she leaned in.
