That afternoon had been unbelievable, we went snorkeling and swam with the most beautiful fish I'd ever seen. My dream had come true too, being lucky enough to see some leatherback turtles gliding through the water. It was magical to say the least.

Now though, we were getting ready for dinner. I was showered, hair done and my make up finished, so all there was to do was get dressed.  The dress I wore was long to the floor, chiffon, strapless and black. incredibly simple, classic and comfortable, but with the right amount of style for the environment we were in. Kimi entered the room from outside. "where have you been?" I frowned, watching him walk towards me. I took the moment to appreciate his attire. "nowhere" he answered, moving up close to me. "you look good" he growled, making me giggle, "thank you." I replied, allowing him to paw at my behind as he pulled me close. "I am dressed up enough for you tonight then?" I questioned after his remark earlier this morning when we were on the beach. He chuckled. "of course" he smiled, leaning down to kiss my neck. "are you ready to go?" he asked, I nodded in response as he looked back up at me. Taking my hand, he then turned and led us to the door he had just entered from.

"oh Kimi..." I gasped a little in surprise. The sight that met me as he opened the doors to our little chalet was so unexpected. There, on the modest patio, looking out onto the beach was a table dressed for two surrounded by candle light. "Please miss," the young Antiguan waiter politey indicated for me to take a seat. I smiled at him and stepped away from Kimi's hand as I sat down, the waiter pushing my chair under me as I did. He poured me a glass of ice cold water, Kimi too, as he took the seat opposite me, all the while watching me with a slight smile on his face. I looked across at him and blushed, this was SO unexpected.

..........

"I can't believe you've done this" I sighed, looking from the gorgeous view of the setting sun, to my Fin who I'd noticed hadn't stopped watching me so far. "why not?" he asked plainly. "I dunno" I shrugged with a giggle. "I guess I didn't think someone would like me enough to do this" I said, blushing at my comment. Kimi's smile grew wider, "well I guess I think you're worth it" he chuckled. I decided not to say anything back to him, but I took his hand in mine and held on tight, never wanting to let go.

But before either one of us could say anything else, the sound of steel drums echoed around us. I froze for a moment, then slowly turning my head round to Kimi, seeing him smiling, I asked; "what is that?" then hearing it getting louder, I turned my head back round, and in the distance, I could see fire, lights and lots of people heading our way. "Kimi what is it?!" I asked excitedly, hearing him laugh, I looked to him once more, "it is the start of the carnival here" he told me, his smiling never wavering. "carnival?!" I gasped excitedly, spinning round in my seat to see the locals dancing down the beach, music blaring out around us and torches lighting up our surroundings. "Kimi this is awesome" I laughed, looking back to him, when I noticed people from the neighboring chalets coming out to join in the fun. "let's go!" I squeaked, jumping up from my seat. "what?" he asked, I looked back to him, still in his seat. "come on! dance with me!" I beamed at him, grabbing his hand as I pulled him up. He quickly necked the rest of his drink and allowed me to drag him down the steps and onto the beach.

......................

This.Was.Awesome. I was standing on the beach at 2am, the ocean crashing by our feet, looking back at the most amazing guy I had ever met. People swirled around us, dancing and clapping to the music that was louder than I thought possible. The colours of their outfits glowed brightly under the torches that lit up the sky. I swear it was like something out of a movie. Kimi twirled me around and around, laughing at my almost child-like demeanor. Playful Kimi was another side to him people hardly saw, but the one that I loved the most. "Are you having fun?!" He yelled over the music, I nodded crazily, making him laugh out loud. "I will never forget this in a million years Raikonnen!!" I told him, leaning closer to his ear so I knew he could hear me. "Me neither!" he shouted back. "You're the best thing in my life!!" I found myself telling him next. "am I?!" he asked, instantly stopping me. I looked back at him, his face aglow with a smile I could never get enough of, "yes! You're a pain in my ass but I couldn't live without you!" I grinned wildly. A sudden gust of wind blew my hair all around us. I laughed trying to tame it as I felt Kimi's hands slide across my hips. "I love you!!"
"what?!" I strained to hear him, pulling my hair to one side. I looked at him with my eyes squinted, he glanced away from me and I wondered why. "Kimi?"
"does not matter" he replied, his smile had faded, "Kimi please" I smiled at him, touching his shoulder. He looked back at me with a sigh, "I said I love you" he replied. Fuck

I just stood still staring at him a minute, but my grip on his shoulder tensed and I pulled him closer to me, leaning down to his ear, "I love you more Raikkonen" I giggled, suddenly feeling the effects of the alcohol we'd drank. Kimi stood smiling at me as I giggled more and more. "I love you" I said, pulling his head against mine, our noses brushing against each other. "Iloveyou, Iloveyou, Iloveyou, Iloveyou" I stupidly chanted as I kept his forehead against mine. All he did was stand there smiling at me, his hands not leaving my hips. "you are drunk I think" he chuckled at me. "no I'm not" I said, straightening up, looking him in the eye with an angry frown. Kimi just laughed more. "you are." he countered. I stood still and the beach spun a little. "okay, maybe a bit" I frowned again. Kimi chuckled, "lets get you to bed" he said, sliding his hands around my waist as he directed me to our little temporary house. "sounds like a very good idea Mr Iceman"
