Today was the first day of events. Loki wasn't competing today, and I wanted nothing more than to spend time with him. But as the princess, I had to watch the games. Loki taught me all his magic while I was in Asgard, but there was nothing I could do without my parents seeing me do it. Also, even if Loki transformed into a guard, it was highly unlikely that my parents would let me leave.

I spent the entire day of events reading my book. The next day of events came, and Loki did compete. It made me angry when I heard people make bets on who'd be some of the first to go. The betters whispered that Loki would be one, but boy were they surprised when he was one of the last five from his group. I stood up looking at him alone smiling because I knew he could do it. After the games, I met Loki again in the gardens. We walked and talked about many things.

"I can't wait till we are married." Loki beamed.

"Are we going to live here or in Asgard?" He then asked.

I hadn't given it much thought.

"What if we ran away somewhere our parents couldn't find us. Live normally. Don't you just wish you could escape."

"Where were you thinking?"

"I don't know maybe Earth? That's only of you want."

"I have kinda wanted to get away too. I don't care about the throne. Let's do it darling. We can be married in Asgard, and when we walk out the wedding, I can take you through one of the tunnels that leads to earth. We'll never be found. We can find a place there and live and dress like them and do things for ourselves for a change and have a happy life."

"That sounds wonderful. I love you so much Loki."

"I love you my princess." He kissed me sweetly before leaving back to his quarters. I enjoyed these moments, and I was ready for the day we could truly be together.

Two days of events later, and Loki was competing. The events were faster than the last days. Only Loki and two from his group and four from the other remained. The next day the ordinary boring group got wiped out by the three that were left in the muscles group. One of which was Thor.

It was now the final day of competition. The last day will be the celebration day. Currently Della was doing my hair.

"Are you excited y/n? Aren't you ready just to get married to your true love?"

"Yes and yes. If it takes to long I think I might just call it. I'm tired of all this competition ya know?"

"I guess so."

"Della. This... Have you ever thought this might be the last time you are like my maid?"

"I... No."

"Well, I don't know we might move. Know that you were always my mother better than my real one. No one will replace you."

"I'm going to miss you y/n."

"I'm going to miss you too."

She hugged me and escorted me to the seat beside my parents. The final competition was about to begin. Loki was the best one out there. Soon it was just him, his brother, and one more muscle guy that Thor just took out. Brother against brother. Brain against brawn. They matched each other in skill and soon night fell. I was getting tired and I knew it would take time so I got up smoothing my dress.

"Stop." As said as princessy as I could. They both looked up at me as well as everyone else.

"It has come to my attention that I have chosen who I want my suitor to be. I loved him from the very start, but I continued the games because he wanted to prove his worth to the king and queen. He's been my friend for quite some time, and I would be more than happy to call him my husband. I chose Loki. My Loki. Prince of Jotunheim and Asgard, as well as my heart."

I looked down at him, and he smiled mouthing I love you. The crowd cheered, and when Loki and Thor both went to their tent, I saw Loki's mother hug him.

My parents took me in and talked with me. "Well y/n. We are glad that you made a decision." My father said.

"However this whole competition wasn't even needed." My mother added.

"What?"

"Well sweetie, if you waited to hear who we were arranging your marriage with, it was Loki."

"Oh dad I'm so sorry we spent all this time sitting here for nothing."

"It's alright. You got it from me" my dad laughed. That night I fell into a deep peaceful sleep.

The next day was the celebration. I finally got to sit with Loki at the table. We even somehow convinced our parents to let us go to earth. We said that Thor could get Asgard, and that Della and her family could run my parents kingdom when they passed. We were going to be married in Asgard as planned then instead of going through the tunnels, we would just use the bifrost to get to earth. Our parents both helped us find a nice secluded house on the beach so that they could come and go without having to be seen by people. We were excited. In fact the week after we were going to get married, and I was going to be Mrs. Loki Laufeyson.

It was the week of our marriage. My parents, Della, her family, and I headed to Asgard to prepare. I spent most of my time with Loki until night when we had to go our separate ways. The day had come so soon. I had a dress like the one I wore the first day of the events, just that it was white with blue faintly in it. My hair cascaded down my back, and I really thought I looked like one of those princesses in the fairytales Della would read to me.

The wedding was outside in a valley were the ocean could be faintly seen in the background. My father took my arm smiling holding back tears saying I looked beautiful. The music began to play, and we walked to where Loki and the preacher were. He was so handsome. He wore a nice suit to represent what our future life was going to be like if we had gotten married on earth. He was enchanting, and he was to be my Prince.

The ceremony went by in a blur. I just know that I was so ecstatic when the preacher said Loki could kiss me. It was just like the first sweet and kind. We held hands and ran to the bifrost preparing ourselves for our future together as one. I can't believe my dreams ironically came true.
