The World's A Stage

After Thor Ragnarok. Asguard remains, and Loki gave Thor the throne.

Thor was walking with Loki to the theatre for the first new play since their battle with their sister, of which they locked her back in the confines their father had.

Loki had not had time to watch a play like Thor had after due to trying to make amends and move things back to his room.

"You know... You should think about actually being in a play. I think you would really enjoy it. Most of the actors and actresses are very nice and accepting." Thor suggested.

"Maybe so." Loki nodded as they walked into the open theatre.

They looked for seats and waited for the play to begin. Loki was very excited. He always loved the plays, but while Odin was alive Loki was forbidden to actually be in them. Now that Odin was gone he could be in the plays.

Then he felt a tug on his pants and he looked down to see a little girl with a rose in her hand, "Prince Loki, sir, would you like a rose? You can give it to one of our preformers at the end of the play."

Loki bent down so he could be level with the little girl. He smiled at her, "I'd like that. Thank you." She handed him the rose.

"Enjoy the show." She curtsied and went on to the stage. Loki and Thor then sat down.

"Lords and Ladies, welcome to the theatre!" She enthusiastically smiled. "I'm Rosalind, and today we have very special guests in the house. Everyone give a grand round of applause to King Thor and Prince Loki." She pointed in the boys direction, and everyone clapped.

"Shhhh." She put her finger to her mouth, and everyone became silent which amazed Loki.

"Now... What everyone has been waiting for. Let the play commence." She went backstage and then the curtain drew open, and a woman was sitting onstage. She was extremely beautiful. Loki stood up and walked closer begining to smile.

"Brother sit down." Thor whispered.

Loki realized Thor was right so he sat back down, "Who is she?" He whispered to Thor.

"She would be your crush from when we were young."

Y/n l/n. She was always so beautiful and intelligent. Then Loki never saw her again. Mainly because she was forced into an arranged marriage, and her husband never let her leave the house. So many times he wanted to save her, because he heard her husband didn't love her, and treated her terribly. Loki was surprised her husband let her participate in this play. Loki wished it would have been him as her husband instead.

She herself wanted to act in theater. Loki thought she was amazing. Then the curtain closed. He wanted to see her so he waited till much of the audience had left. He looked down at the rose knowing he was going to give it to her. Finally she was alone, so he breathed in before speaking.

"You were amazing out there darling." He smiled and raised up the rose.

You turned around and placed your hands over your mouth in shock. "Oh my heart... Loki."

"Y/n. I'd like to give this rose to you."

You blushed and took the rose. "Thank you."

"Mom!" The little girl from the beginning walked up to you, and you picked her up.

"Mom?" Loki whispered.

"Prince Loki gave his rose to you? I hoped he would since you lov"

"Rosalind... Sweetie why don't you go talk to King Thor for a moment."
