Oh Loki: Part Three

It had been several months since Loki came into your life. He had been adjusting quite nicely. The days you taught him how to use his phone were a breeze compared to when you taught Thor and Steve. Even though he didn't know much at first when he got here, he had managed to learn quickly. He was curious, and he wasn't afraid to ask questions. He was extremely intelligent, and he had been reading the books in your library. You knew in your heart this was what you were meant to do, and he was who you wanted to be with.

Both yours and Loki's love and fascination for the other grew steadily, however you both had yet to say anything of how you felt to the other. You both wanted to tell, but you both also were waiting for the right time.

Currently you and Thor had been trying to find a way to tell the team about Loki so they could all come over and see him. Loki had been wanting to see them all to apologize, even though you didn't think he needed to.

Thor gradually had gotten the team used to the idea and story of Loki without the in depth details of Loki's time with the bad aliens.

It seemed everyone was on board with the idea of having a meal together at your mansion with the idea of getting to know Loki better. You were happy that everyone had positive things to say about this. Everyone except... Tony.

You didn't know what his problem was so on one Saturday you asked Thor to come over to hang out with Loki while you went to the tower.

You put on the casual Aragorn outfit you had just finished creating and walked to Loki's room. You looked in and he was still sleeping. You went in leaving a note reminding him that Thor was coming over, and you would be at the tower though you'd be back. As you looked at him, he looked so peaceful in the room he made his own. He chose a beautiful emerald green paint for his wall. You remembered helping him paint his room while listening to music. He mainly let you choose the furnishings, but you made sure that everything fit his personality.

Before you left his room you walked up to him smiling to yourself. You pulled his cover up, and kissed his forehead. You still had yet to tell him your feelings. After several weeks when Loki was sleeping and you had to leave you would kiss his forehead. This became a frequent thing you would do even if he went to bed early you would go in to kiss his forehead when you would go to your room.

"See you soon. I... Sleep well."

You left his room blushing. Even though he was asleep, you were close to saying I love you. In fact it wouldn't be the first time you were close to saying you loved him, and you hated that you weren't confident to just tell him already.

You tried to take your mind off it as you locked all the doors via your phone. Now you just had one mission. Find out why Tony couldn't let go of the past.

Loki opened his eyes once you had left. He was utterly in love with you, and he loved when you kissed his forehead. He loved that you didn't think he was aware that you had been kissing his forehead for over four months. It made him blush to think you had feelings for him too. He hoped that's how you felt.

Loki looked at the note smiling to himself. He got up and decided to make himself some breakfast. When he went to the kitchen he was met with a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries. Also there was a plate of fried eggs, bacon, and toast. Loki's favorite cup was also streaming with blueberry tea, for he had actually liked your favorite tea. He also noticed another note.

Loki,
I figured you'd like some breakfast when you woke up. Hopefully it will still be warm when you wake up. Hopefully it will still be breakfast by the time you come to the kitchen. Anyway. Don't forget Thor's coming over, and don't forget to let him in. By now you know I don't expect you to get dressed for your day. You can stay in your pyjamas if you want. I even suggested that Thor do the same. Have a great day darling. I'll be back by dinner, and I'll even bring back some Big Mac meals. I know it's one of your favorite fast foods.
