Finally Gone 🌹

It had been almost five days since you had your accident and Frigga left. Loki had remained by your side relatively the whole time.

His mother assured that the bed itself had healing properties to keep you well. Loki knew you would wake up. He felt it more as the days past, but he didn't know when.

He read to you and the baby since he knew you could hear. He even would sing mainly songs his mother sang to him. He had such a lovely singing voice that he only reserved for the ones he loved dearly. He didn't sing often, but there was one time when you both were younger that he sang for one of the strictest Kings amongst the realms for Odin's purpose of hopefully making an ally. The king who was never known to cry shed tears over Loki's melodious voice.

Loki just finished reading another book. He got up to put the book away and got some tea. That's when his mother appeared in an illusion like state.

"My dear, we are okay. Your brother and I are returning to your home with urgency. Most of Thanos's army has been eliminated, but he's not defeated yet. He has seen you and y/n in the minds of others. He knows you both told the others to destroy some of the infinity stones he needed to complete his mission. He's going to try to enter the barrier. We're going to come help you, but he's coming fast."

Frigga disappeared, and Loki's blood began to boil. This Thanos caused so much pain to his people. The people he loved so dearly. This creature who could be so cruel to anyone and any race among the universe. Thanos time needed to come to an end.

Loki placed a kiss on your forehead and left the room. He walked out of Frigga's home to see that she and Thor just arrived.

Then he noticed Thanos standing on the outside of the border. He wouldn't be able to see inside, but he knew this was where he needed to be. He began to hit the forcefield.

Frigga looked to both her sons and nodded. She went out the forcefield holding her own favored daggers. She attacked and downed Thanos's followers with ease. Then she re-entered.

Thanos looked around then looked back to the forcefield. He continued to punch the field burning his hand and the gauntlet in the process.

"Come face me all you cowards. Shall I have to come in there? I do want to see y/n and the little one so I can destroy them."

Loki looked to Thor telepathically sharing his plan. Thor nodded keeping a firm grip on stormbreaker. Loki took down a small fraction of the forcefield that was enough for Thanos to enter.

"Thank you. I don't have much work to do now."

Thanos was about to take a step in when Loki walked closer to him.

"You've done too much work. You won't be entering my home."

With that, Loki pulled out the casket of ancient winters. His skin immediately turned blue, and his eyes turned red as he blasted Thanos with freezing ice. Loki continued to freeze Thanos all except for his head.

"This is your plan? Pathetic."

Then as Loki continued to freeze Thanos, Thor jumped in the air and with stormbreaker did the only thing that could be done.

Loki stored the casket of ancient winters back into his magic bag. The ice began to melt just as Loki's skin and eyes turned back to his preferred form. Thanos's body collapsed. Loki walked to his mother, and together they used flames to turn what was left to ash that was sent to his planet of origin. Then they closed the force field back.

Loki turned to Frigga and Thor. "Is it over?"

"I believe so." Thor answered.

Loki walked to his mother giving her a hug. Then he turned to Thor. Thor extended his hand, but Loki hugged him instead.
