A Spell 🌹

You all had been learning to get used to Earth. It had been several years since you all moved to Earth to protect yourselves. Thor had been doing surprisingly well, and had met a group of friends just like he had on Asguard.

Loki and you didn't mind at all. You hadn't seen Thor in a while, but he kept in contact.

Currently you sat in the sun room looking out at the field when Loki walked in front of you and squatted to be face to face with you.

"Darling." He smiled taking hold of your hands.

"Snowflake." You also smiled bringing his hands to your lips so you could kiss them.

"I was thinking... We should practice spells today." He had a tone in his voice that you only could say was full of mischief.

You acted like you were trying to think about it, "Okay, I suppose."

"Great! Mother picked out your clothes and such. I will see you outside." He kissed you and just like that he left.

You giggled wondering what he was planning. Then you went to your room and gasped at the dress on your bed. It was definitely from Asguard. It was cream colored with golden flowers embroidered on it. You slipped it on, and it was very soft. You stayed barefoot because you assumed that's what Loki wanted. You let down your hair and put on the cream flower crown. Then you you put on the pearl jewelery. Once you finished getting ready, you walked outside.

You gasped to see Loki standing there in Asguardian attire. Frigga stood behind him smiling.

"Y/n... I need help with this spell, but you're the only who can help me with this spell." He smiled, and his eyes glistened.

"The tethering spell." You whispered bringing your hands up to cover your mouth.

He walked to you taking your hands in his own. "Yes. Do you remember when we almost tried to preform it when we were about eight?"

"Yes. I found it, and I wanted to preform it with you because I thought it would make us stronger."

"Then mum came telling us what it really was." His smile widened as he rubbed your palms.

"A binding spell. A marriage spell that will forever tie us together as one." You also smiled as a tear slipped down your cheek.

"Y/n, I think today we finally should preform the spell from our past." He let go of your hands and with his powers made a book appear.

"Loki... Is this."

"The very same book from our childhood? It is my love, and the page is still marked." He opened it, and you saw the bookmark you put in there so long ago.

You smiled touching the page. Then you looked up to Loki, and you kissed him shortly before pulling away. "Let's preform the tethering spell." You giggled through happy tears.

He took your your hand, and you both walked to Frigga. Then you both faced each other and he held your other hand as well.

Before your could begging, Thor walked through the barrier.

"Thor, what is the matter?" Frigga spoke waking up to him.

"The humans, they're in danger. They're being attacked by aliens, and Sif... She's leading them." Thor solemnly spoke. "We need all the help we can get."

You looked to Loki, and you wondered if you should both help. It was quiet, and after a while Loki spoke.

"This is our home, so we should protect it from threats." He looked to you frowning.

"Yes. We should help even though I've never been in combat."

"Thank you both. I will meet you at the barrier." Thor walked away, and you turned to Loki.

"Why does he always show up at the wrong time?" You giggled trying to lighten the mood.

"It's his specialty. I'm so sorry this came up." He looked away. Then you touched his chin turning his head back to you

"It's okay Loki. We've waited this long, we can wait a little longer. Besides your right, Earth is our home, and we must protect it if we can. I know we never really did fight in battles on Asguard, but I don't know what's so different here. Maybe it's because I've always wanted to live here, and this place with you really feels like home."

"Maybe so." Loki nodded. Then he used his powers to turn his outfit to his combat suit. Then he turned your dress into a female version of his combat suit complete with a matching cape, which you loved. You also got a helmet similar to his, but it was smaller than his. (Like the Thor Ragnarok helmet)

Before you left Frigga hugged you both. "Be careful okay?"

You both nodded and held hands as you walked to the barrier. Thor lead you both to a jet, and you all walked in.

"Steve?"

"Y/n, Loki?" Steve said as he turned around. "It's been a while."

"Yeah, it has."

"You all have met?" Thor asked.

"Yes. Loki and I came to Earth several years ago, just for a day. We got ice cream, and that's when we ran into Steve."

"Yeah. That's basically it. They were on a date. How are you both?" Steve asked.

You leaned your head on Loki's shoulder, "We're doing fantastic." You choose not to reveal that you both were engaged, so that Thor would be surprised.

He nodded, and you panicked when the jet landed. The hatch opened up and Steve and Thor walked out. Loki and you remained.

"I knew we'd meet Steve again."

"Indeed." Loki nodded before pausing,  "you don't have to fight if you don't want to. We both don't have to fight. We can heal people if you want."

"We told Thor we would help, and we should honor that word." You looked out at the battle happening outside.

"Okay, but if either of us get hurt, we should go home. Can you promise me that?" Loki looked to you, his eyes laced with concern.

"I promise. Now let's help save Earth. Together my prince."

"Together my princess."
