After Ragnarok. Let's just pretend that the thing that popped up at the end of the movie didn't show up and yeah. Hopefully if you've seen it you understand what I'm saying. I'm just trying to not spoil anything in case someone hasn't seen it yet cause I know some people who haven't. Also this kinda starts at the end of the movie so if you haven't seen it I'm warning you now. It's just probably the first bit, but other than that you're good to go.

Loki's POV

All was rather odd lately in my life. I look at where Asgard was realizing only a few years before I asked for a seat in to watch Asgard burn. Now that it's happened and with what had happened lately, I don't know what to feel.

The ship was lively and bustling with the survivors. I mainly stayed in my room and read. Today, I went out though. I explored and learned of my new environment and the people who inhabited it. After the eventful day I went back to bed and closed my eyes.

I was alone. I could hear what might have been the sounds of an ocean. Mist in the colors of blue and green surrounded me.

"Hello? I know someone is here. Reveal yourself." I tried to sound brave even though I was sightly scared.

"There is no need to be scared. Hello there you've entered my world. Or perhaps it is your very own. I think you can decide what you see. Perhaps you would like to see what I see. Perhaps you would like to see me. You will with time. Farewell Loki. Find me here when your eyes begin to droop, and you can no longer stay awake."

The feminine voice faded away. Everything faded away and I was floating in what appeared to be space.

All to soon, I woke up.

What was that? Somehow it had to be real for I had never heard it witnessed such a dream. I suppose I would find out the next time I fall asleep.

Today I walked around the ship to avoid my brother. Soon night had fallen and I returned to sleep.

I was floating in space again. I remembered how the voice said I could imagine anything I want so I pictured my room. Not the room in the spaceship but the one in Asgard. Then the space slowly transformed into what I was thinking of.

"Ah, I see you remembered what I said. Also maybe this is in fact real. Maybe I exist. Maybe this world, or perhaps this dimension can be discovered. A world in which your life would be alternate to this one." The woman whispered.

"Why don't you reveal yourself?"

"How does one reveal themselves? Do they open up? Do they appear? Walk out of the shadows?"

"Why do you keep answering in riddles or questions?" I was getting slightly irritated.

"For the master of mischief and a man of knowledge who likes to read and think, I thought you would like this. Do you not? That is very peculiar." The voice sounded so close.

"I suppose. How do you know my name?"

"I told you. There are many dimensions such as Dr. Strange told you of. There are some worlds in which alternate versions of you exist. However if you can become aware of those things you can alter those alternate versions of you. You can enter those dimensions and be yourself. However it's hard for most especially since they do not know of this. Not even the alternate versions of yourself. I however have mastered the art. Dr. Strange has mastered the art. Maybe you can. If you want."

"That doesn't answer how you know me."

"But it does. Think. Use that intelligent brain of yours. If I know you, then that must mean I am in your dimension. You know me, or you have at least met me."
