A/n: anything with a snowflake emoji at the end of the title will be related to this you're not afraid series.

You walked down the corridors of the palace. Asguard was very quaint, but at the same time, there was a mysteriousness to the palace. You were the librarian, and you loved a good mystery.

You heard rumors. Rumors of a Prince that lied in the confines of the very castle. You didn't understand though. As far as you could recall the King and Queen only had one child, Prince Thor.

You tried to find out anything you could about this mystery Prince, but you didn't have any strong leads. You even looked in archives, but if there really was another Prince, it's like they erased him from existence.

It only made you wonder, what did he do to get himself removed from family records? You entered back into the library and decided to call it a night.

You woke up from your very nice room/apartment, which was above the library and went back down getting ready for the day. You put on your favorite green dress, and ate a piece of bread and tea. Then you went down to the library, and you weren't surprised to see Thor there.

"Why hello Prince Thor." You smiled.

"Lady y/n. We are friends, you can call me Thor." He smiled.

"Alright. So what will it be today?" You walked with him to a table so he could figure out what type of book he would want to read.

That's the only problem. Thor never struck you as an avid reader, or at least someone who found enjoyment in reading. To you he seemed more of a brawn's over brains guy, but you tried to not judge him.

"Uhhh... Well... I.. lately I've liked.... I'm sorry to say, but I can't quiet remember the fellow's name. I... I think it's a writer from Midguard." He frowned.

You thought it was very odd that he couldn't remember what he was reading, or who wrote it for a matter of fact. You pushed it aside and began to try and figure out who it might be.

"What does this author write?"

"I believe he writes plays?" Thor said as he looked up for any recollection of the author.

"No need to fret Thor. I believe you are thinking of William Shakespeare. The only question is what play would you like to take with you, or would more than one suit your fancy?"

"I... I don't know." He frowned.

"How can you not know what you want to read Thor?"

"Well... They... They aren't for me." His voice got surprisingly low, which was odd as well seeing that you had to tell him to be quiet in the library when others were visiting.

"What do you mean?"

He pulled you close and whispered into your ear, "I trust you, but you must not tell anyone that you know. These aren't for me... They are for... My brother." He pulled away, and you tried to remain calm.

You then got up and made sure no one else was in the library. You then locked the doors and closed all the curtains.

"You have a brother?" You still whispered just in case.

"Well he's not really my brother, but I consider him my brother. He... He's more like a prisoner to my father as a way to threaten or trade with another realm... My brother... He's not like most asguardians."

"Because he's not asguardian." You frowned.

"No. He's not. Sadly he's not allowed to leave his room, and even if he could... He would choose not to because he fears that no one will like him once he shows himself."
