Loki Thor Ragnarok Style, but Ragnarok didn't happen.

You breathed in looking up at Nat and Wanda a little anxious.

"Calm down y/n. You looked great, and this is going to be fun." Wanda encouraged you as she fixed your hair.

"I know you didn't really want to do this, but it really is helping out the fundraiser. Everyone else is participating. Even Loki. I heard he might be in a black, green, and gold Santa suit. Not sure. But... Who knows, you might actually have fun." Nat said as she fixed your makeup.

You tried to mentally tell yourself what you were doing was for a good cause. What it is? Well the Avengers decided to auction themselves off as dates for a research to cure diseases foundation. Everyone decided to participate you included, though you were reluctant at first.

It was decided to be a Christmas themed event so some dressed as Santa, others elves, and others just dressed in Christmas or Winter colors. At least that's what you were told. You had no idea what to wear, especially since you didn't wear dresses, so you called on the help of Nat and Wanda.

They picked out a dress with tan underneath and emerald green designs on top. You thought it was a bit too much, but they insisted and got you to wear it. Thankfully the dress had pockets, so you put your phone in one.

"Almost done. Now we just need to finish it off with a golden crown."

Wanda placed the crown on your head then the girls both looked at you admiring their work. Thankfully they were already done with their own outfits, because you all were fashionably late. All the men had been auctioned off and were getting acquainted with the person who had their highest bid.

You all finally made it, and you waited your turn behind the curtain. Eventually it was just you. The last person waiting to walk out there and be bidded on. It was for a good cause you kept telling yourself.

Then you heard Pepper, who was hosting, call out your name. You tried to not freak out and you decided to put yours hands securely in your pockets. You put on a smile as the curtain opened. As you walked you were thankful Nat and Wanda didn't put you in heals and instead went for gladiator sandals that matched the crown.

As you walked out you didn't know what to think when you heard wolf whistles. You stopped at the end of the runway as Pepper read out some of the things you had written on the little form you had gotten.

You began to get a little overwhelmed and flustered during the bidding. Men kept cat calling you, and saying things you didn't like at all. Why were they doing this to you? You didn't remember them doing this to the other girls. It was so bad you were internally fighting yourself as to not give in to panic or cry in front of all those people.

"I will bid gold of Asguard worth one million of your US dollars."

Everyone collectively gasped, and you did as well. All looked to who had said it, and you could hear some people get jealous. You looked yourself as the person rose from the darkened room below the stage. Then a spotlight hit him, and you were in a daze.

It was Loki. He was indeed dressed in a black, green, and gold outfit similar to Santa's however it was more fitting, and the fur was black instead of white. Interest of Santa's hat he opted for a crown of leaves. He walked up the steps of the stage; his eyes never left your own. There was a smile on his lips compared to his usual smirk he gave most people.

Finally he met you and took your hands in his own gently kissing the back of your palms without breaking eye contact.

"Loki, one million? Are you sure?" Pepper asked.

"Yes brother are you sure about this?" You heard Thor somewhere in the back.

"I'm sure Pepper. Also Thor you know how that amounts. It will be as if we didn't take any money out at all. Asguard is thriving."

Loki said once again without breaking eye contact.

"You look beautiful love. You always look radiant, but I suppose my jealousy and fear that these other men might win your heart got me to confess my feelings for you."
He leaned to your ear whispering, "You my dear are worth more than all the gold and treasures of the Galaxy if I may be a little cheesy." He kissed your check as he pulled away causing you to blush.

"I thought it was really sweet..." You looked down continuing to blush. "What about whoever got the highest bid for you?"

Loki lifted your chin. "Darling, Pepper got the highest bid for me, for you. She wanted me to tell you I was your Christmas present from her in Tony in the least weird way possible." He chucked.

You looked to Pepper and she gave you both a thumbs up. "Congratulations Loki you got the highest bid for y/n, and now you both have two dates stocked up. Let's give them a round of applause everyone."

No one really clapped except Pepper and your Avenger family. Loki linked your arm with his and escorted you to a table with his brother, who he'd actually been getting along with, and the blonde headed lady that had the highest bid for Thor.

Since the bidding was done, some people had for up and left, while others stayed to socialize. You and Loki mainly observed everyone as you held hands. You leaned on his shoulder, and eventually fell asleep.

Loki picked you up bridal style taking you to your room. He used his magic to put you in your favorite pyjamas and the dress in your closet while your accessories where on your dresser.

You woke up before he could leave; your eyes were just barely open.

"Loki..."

"Yes love?"

"Thank you... For tonight... You... You didn't have to spend a million dollars on me."

He walked back in the room sitting on the edge of your bed smiling down at you as he ran his fingers through your hair.

"Love, I told you. You are worth more than all the treasures of the Galaxy. I have managed to harbor great feelings for you my dear for quite some time, and I was tired of waiting. I want to be with you. I promise it really isn't much gold. What's your million here might compare to ten dollars there, so you have nothing to worry about. I mean your not worth ten dollars. You are truly more, but I didn't want brother to freak out since he's to be King soon. Also wouldn't want Stark to get his trousers in a wad because someone outbid him. It goes for a good cause. You mean everything to me."

"Really?" You yawned causing Loki to chuckle and smile so that his eyes crinkled at the corners.

"Really. Now why don't you get some rest darling. You appear to be quiet tired."

He kissed your head and got up to leave.

"Loki."

He turned back around, "Yes love?"

"I just wanted to let you know you mean a lot to me too. You have for a long time, and I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner."

"It's alright my love. Now get your rest."

"Loki, just one more thing."

"Of course."

"That outfit look looks really nice on you. I mean all you wear looks good, but I just wanted to tell you that."

"Thank you my dear. Promise me you'll get that rest now." He smiled turning out there lights.

"I promise... Love."
