All Your Attention 🌹

This is the beginning of a series of a little Loki and reader as they share adventures together and grow up. Any story that has a rose at the end of the title will be apart of this series. That way you know because there might be times when I jump their age a couple of Earth years. Regardless, I hope you enjoy.

You walked in between the two princes. Thor had his arm around your shoulder, and you held Loki's hand. You were one their close friends mainly because your mother was close friends with Frigga.

Thor had to go to the bathroom so you and Loki were waiting for him. You still were holding hands, and Loki whispered in your ear, "Let's go to the library. Thor can meet us there."

You giggled nodding, "Okay."

He and you walked hand in hand to the library. You even held hands as you both scoured the shelves for the right book. Finally you both found a book that seemed interesting enough.

"Okay so you can read all the girl parts, and I'll read the guy parts. Then the actual writing we take turns reading the chapters. Is that okay?" Loki asked you.

"Yup." You giggled as you opened up the book. You offered Loki to be the first to read the first chapter.

"Why did you both leave me?"

Loki looked up, and you looked to Loki. "We didn't leave you. We were just waiting patiently for you." Loki calmly smiled.

"Fine. Can we go back outside now?" Thor asked.

"Well we were just about to read Thor. Plus we've been outside a good portion of the day. It feels much cooler in here." Loki shrugged.

"Oh come on. Y/n do you want to go back out. Y/n?" He frowned.

You finally tore your gaze from Loki and looked to Thor. "We really were fixing to read, and it does feel better in here." You stated.

"I'm afraid either way both activities will be delayed for now. It is time for lunch." Frigga came in rubbing Loki's head.

"Mum... Not in front of y/n." Loki spoke.

"Okay. Okay. Loki darling did you and y/n preform a spell wrong, or are you both just simply holding hands?" Frigga questioned Loki.

"We're just just holding hands mum that's all." Loki shrugged as you both got up, and you put a bookmark in the book. Frigga just smirked because even though you and Loki both probably didn't know, she knew you both were each other's first crushes.

"Mum can y/n and I go to my room to put our book up?"

"You may, but make it quick sweetie. Come right back here when you're done so we can have our lunch in the garden." She smiled mentally awing at how cute you both were.

You and Loki both walked to his room to put down the book, and then you both went back to Frigga and Thor.

You all walked together to one of Frigga's favorite gardens. There Odin was waiting for you all a smile on his face for these were the years where the family was actually connected. Well they were connected moreso than they would ever be in the future.

You all ate and drank tea. Frigga awed when you separated your hand from Loki's, and Loki frowned even though you didn't see it. She felt better when Loki smiled when you offered him one of your cookies, and he in turn gave you his mashed potatoes.

Once you were all done you got up and extended your hand to Loki. He took it and Thor wrapped his arm around your shoulder just as it always had been.

You all thanked Frigga for the delicious lunch, and then you all began to walk down the long corridors. You swung your hand with Loki's, and you walked just a little faster when you got to your room.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to go get Viggo." You giggled. Viggo was your beautiful husky puppy. You picked him up and carried him next door to Loki's room which was right beside your own. In fact your room was right between Thor's and Loki's. When you opened the door to Loki's room you let Loki hold Viggo.

"Can I hold Viggo after Loki y/n?" Thor looked to you.

"Sure." You smiled. You got the book from the library, and you all sat in the bed you in the middle.

"Loki, can I hold Viggo now?" Thor questioned.

"Yeah." Loki nodded handing you your puppy so you could hand Viggo to Thor.

When you turned your direction to Thor to give him Viggo, and you saw a sad look on his face. "Thor what's wrong?"

"Y/n all your attention is always on Loki nowadays." Thor frowned.

"Are you jealous?" Loki smirked behind your back.

"No... No I'm not jealous." Thor looked down.

"I... I'm sorry Thor." You looked down yourself petting Viggo.

"No... No it's fine." He shrugged.

You handed him Viggo, and hugged him. "I'll try to be a better friend. I promise."

"No it's all okay. You and Loki get along better. To be honest, I don't really spend as much time as I should with either of you myself. I... I think I'm going to go take a nap. I'll see you both at dinner." Thor handed you Viggo. He got up bowed and left the room.

You looked to Loki, and he grabbed your hand. "Hey... He'll be okay. By dinner he'll probably have forgotten about it. We can delay the reading if you want."

"I... You're right. He'll probably forget by dinner, but I think I'm going to go take a nap too." You frowned.

"I'll walk you out." Loki also frowned.

He helped you get down, and he walked you to your room. He hugged you and opened the door for you.

"It's going to be okay. I promise. Take a nap, and I'll come wake you up when the sun begins to set so you can get ready for dinner. Is that alright?" He suggested.

You nodded, "Thank you Loki. You're so sweet and kind."

"You're welcome. Anything for you." He smiled.

You shut the door and fell asleep comfortably cuddling Viggo. You hoped all would be well when you went to dinner. Until then you tried to not worry.
