Christmas was approaching and Pepper suggested to Tony that it would be a good idea for everyone to participate in a fun game of Secret Santa. Tony agreed and soon called everyone down to the main living room.

"As you all know Christmas is coming and so my lovely wife (Tony is committed to Pepper) thought it would be a good idea for us all to participate in a game of Secret Santa."

Some people giggled and nodded their heads while some shared a look of confusion.

"What is this Secret Santa, if I may ask?" Thor broke the silence.

Everyone looked to the girl with h/n hair excitedly say, "Well the real reason for the season is Jesus birth (which they are all Christians now), but we all get each other gifts and exchange them. Oh I've always wanted to play this, but Secret Santa is where you put everyone's name in a hat. Then after each person picks a name out of the hat. The name you get is the person you get a gift for. You can't tell them directly that you're their secret Santa. Also if you get yourself you have to pick a new card. Then at a certain day we all come together and get to find out who our secret Santa is. Technically I have played this game, but everytime I'll always get my person something, but it's like my secret Santa never likes me or something because I never get anything..." Y/n sighed all to disappointed at the sad memories.

"Well that won't happen this year Lady y/n. I'm sure of it." Thor smiled trying to cheer her up.

Everyone agreed that they would all play since there was an even number of people. One by one they would pick a name out sometimes having to pick multiple times since they kept getting their own name. Then they all went their separate ways to begin their search for the perfect gift.

Your POV:

I hope this year whoever got me would actually get me something. I know it is probably selfish, but I hated that each time I felt left out. Like I was outside looking in. It made me feel like they didn't care. Like I was something invaluable to their "established lives" I know I shouldn't have let those people or their games bother me, but for the longest time I did. Now as far as I know most of their lives are crap. However surely history won't repeat and I won't be left out again. Especially with people I consider family.

I got Steve and I was pretty excited. He is like a brother to me. (Sorry for the overuse) I knew all the things to get him. First I went and got him paint, canvas, sketchbooks, and more pencils. Then I got him some more flannel shirts and more boxing gloves. After, I got him the forth season of Sherlock and the latest Star Wars movies. I know it was a lot, but he meant a lot to me. He saved my life multiple times. I mean I love him; he's my brother and my brother only.

I got all my purchases and snuck then up to my room with no Steve in sight though I did see Loki whom I'd been crushing on for over four years when he first arrived day by day my crush bloomed to something greater. Love. Not the brotherly love I had with Steve. Not a family love I had with the others. No this was a love where I hoped to spend the rest of my life with him. I know it's stupid to not confess to him how I feel, but I never learned to defeat my fears and shy qualities. There is just something about him that captivates me despite all the things he's done in the past. I sighed and moved in to my room to wrap all of Steve's presents.

In another part of the tower Loki's POV:

I walked about the tower still pondering this whole concept of Secret Santa. I just noticed y/n a few minutes earlier and tried to not look her in the eye. Then I bumped into someone. My brother.

"Ah Loki isn't this going to be fun. I got Lady Wanda, who did you get?"

I really didn't want to tell, but I did, "I got y/n."
