(In this imagine, Thor wasn't exiled. Loki was exiled, but he knew about his Jotun heritage at a young age.)

Loki showed up to your doorstep a night when you really couldn't sleep. He was so innocent, and he looked like someone kicked his puppy. Of course any other person would think his clothes were odd, but you thought he'd just gotten back from a convention. He told you his story and you ended up crying until he found some Kleenex.

At first you let him in on pity, but you realized he was so much more. He grew on you, and you honestly had a crush on him after a year helping him adjust to life on Earth. It had now been four years since and your crush grew stronger.

Currently, it was coming close to December. You always nagged about how it didn't snow. You lived in a part of the country that never got snow. You'd only seen it in pictures, and you always wanted to feel the snow fall around you. No snow in sight.

You sat at your window touching the glass looking out at the dark yard sighing dramatically.

"Y/n, why so glum? Has someone hurt your feelings? Oh gosh, I haven't hurt your feelings have I?"

"Loki, you didn't hurt my feelings. No one did... I just... Really... Oh never mind. It will make me sound childish."

"Nonsense."

"Um... Oh alright. Ever since I was little, I've always wanted it to snow here. I've wanted to hold it and let fall in my hair. I've wanted to stick out my tongue and let the snow land on it, but each year has come and gone with no snow, hardly any cold weather, and it is normally 80 to 90 degrees."

"You know you don't have to act so grown-up around me dear. I mean I'm a master of tricks and whatnot, but is playing tricks and having fun not child like? I like to see when someone still has that child-like heart, and they don't feel like they have to grow up. I see that in you. Just know I don't mind your childlike air. I like to try and have one too."

"Thanks. I just wanna make a snowman, and a snow angel, and frolic around."

"I like your aspirations. I really want to stay up and chat, but I really should go to bed."

"You always stay up late with me though..."

"I know. I just think I'll get some early rest."

"Oh... No fun Loki woki. I think I'll just go to my room too."

He just smiled at you, and you both went to your own rooms. You just laid on the bed looking at the curtain that covered your windows. Your mind was racing from snow to Loki, to Loki to snow. Then all around Loki. Why did he have to be so gosh darn handsome, and more clever than you, and mysterious? Why did he go to bed early?

You stayed on your phone a portion of the night until you finally fell asleep.

"Y/n... Y/n... Y/n... Wake up."

Why was Loki in your room? You really didn't like getting up so early, but against your better judgement you did. Loki greeted you at your bedroom door and grabbed your hand. He then lead you to the window and opened the curtain. You just gasped. You ran out the room, down the stairs, and out the door. Loki just looked at you from the window smiling.

"Y/n, shouldn't you get your jacket?"

"Nah, the cold never bothered me anyway."

"I know you like Frozen, but you should put on your jacket because you might get sick."

"But you don't have to."

"Cause I'm Jotun dear. It's kinda hard for me to get colds."

"Lokiiii I'm fine. Now... Do you wanna build a snowman?"

He laughed and you both spent the whole day in the snow. By the end of the day, you were laying in the snow holding it and looking at the flakes in your hair.

Loki just sat near observing your happiness. He loved when you smiled. He loved when he got to hear you laugh. It all seemed to melt the cold he always carried.

That's another thing he loved about you. By now he was in love with you. You respect him more than anyone, care for him more than anyone, make sure he was comfortable in what he did because to you, his opinion mattered. He only wished he knew how he could express his feelings to you.

He would always plan it in his head but every time something would go wrong, and in his dreamy state, he'd be left heartbroken. He'd do anything for you as long as it meant you were safe and happy. He was even considering giving up his immortality so he could grow old with you if you loved him in return.

"Loki, I wish this could be every day. New things, new sights, no worries, and to spend it all with you."

"Spend it all with me?" He asked surprised.

"Of course you. There's no one else I can ask or would want to. You're the only person that understands and accepts me for me. I never have to put on a disguise for you. We're like partners in crime ya know. I mean for Pete's sake you even got me to do some mischief, and you know how I'm such a goodie two shoes."

"I... I never thought someone would care so much about me."

"Of course I care about you. When you came to me, it was a blessing. You helped me loosen up, and I helped you adjust and such. You may think I saved you, but you really saved me from myself in a sense. You let the inner me blossom so anyone could see how I'm not to horribly shy once you get to know me. I also know you care for me as I care deeply for you. You knew how much I wanted to see snow in person, and you made snow appear for me. No one has ever done anything so nice for me before."

"I couldn't help it. I always like to see you happy."

"So do I for you... Loki... Can... Can I tell you a secret?"

He nodded and you went to his ear and whispered "I love you." Then kissed his cheek. When you moved back to where you sat, you saw him blush. Then he went to you kissing you this time, on the lips short and sweet.

"I'm glad to hear that, because I love you too."

The next day you woke up congested, with a sore throat and headache.

"Ahchoo!" You sneezed.

"I told you princess."

"I hate you." You tried to laugh coughing in the process.

"Love you too darling. I'll be back I'm gonna make you some hot tea."

"Thank you." He just laughed, and that was the start to something more beautiful than before.
