A New View: Part Four

It had been several days since Loki and you had gone bungee jumping. It had been several days since you tried to tell Loki that you loved him or at least had feelings for him.

You looked at your ceiling wishing you could just go ahead and tell him how you felt. You tried to tell him the day after you both bungee jumped, but you couldn't. You supposed there was some part of you that wanted your confession of love to be romantic. You just didn't know what to do so you'd finally be able tell him.

You finally got out of bed and went to the living room to find Loki brushing Leena's fur. You sat beside him, and he stopped brushing her fur to face you.

"Good morning y/n." He whispered.

"Well, you know me. It's more like lunch time."

He laughed, and you blushed when he held your hand. "I know. I just figured I'd say good morning."

You returned his laugh. "Well good morning."

You got up and looked outside. Then, you turned to Loki. "The sky is getting dark. I think it's going to rain."

"I didn't even think to find out what the weather was like."

You saw him frown, and you walked back to him. "If I may ask, what's bothering you?"

"Well, I didn't check the weather. I was planning on asking you if you wanted to have a picnic outside. At the time, I could still feel the sun's warmth. Now, I can't."

You held onto his hands, and he looked in your direction. "I'm sorry we can't go outside, but we can still have a picnic inside. We were going to have one a couple days ago, but I."

"Y/n, I'm just glad you're okay now. I was so scared when you passed out. I was relieved when you spoke."

"Loki, I'd really like to have that picnic with you." 

He smiled, and you both got up. You both put the blanket on the floor and then went to the kitchen to make lunch. When it finished, you both took the food and drinks to the living room and sat on the floor. You turned on Disney+ , and you both began to eat your lunch.

Soon the rain began to pour. You just laughed as you continued to eat. "Well, at least we didn't have all this ready and outside."

Loki also laughed. "I suppose you're right. The rain does sound nice though."

Leena came to the living room from her dog bed and rested her head on Loki's lap. He pet her head, and you both were quite.

You began to explain scenes especially when there was no dialogue. It was something you had begun to like to do with Loki. It was only annoying when you had to describe scenes with characters you didn't like or characters you didn't care to remember their names. There were also those scenes that were hard to describe because they made you sad. Loki would understand, and he would often hold your hand to tell you it was alright.

Loki got up and went to his room momentarily. When he returned, he handed you a present. He nodded to you, and you opened the present. It was a framed picture of a husky puppy with pretty blue eyes.

"He's yours if you want him. I know you've mentioned you've wanted a husky, and Thor happened to find the puppy on one of his missions."

You gasped and hugged Loki. "Thank you so much. Will Leena be okay with this new puppy?"

Loki returned your hug and pulled away. "I'm pretty sure she'll be fine. She was fine around all the other guide dogs, and she made friends more quickly than I ever did."

You scooted next to him and laughed at Leena. She had fallen asleep on Loki's lap. You were about to tell Loki, but he found out when she began to snore.

"So would you like to give the puppy a new home?"

"Of course I would Loki. What's his name?"

"It's up to you to decide." He smiled.

"Alright. I think I'll name him Asa. Thank you so much."

He nodded and you continued to watch the movie. You explained a scene where no one talked, and the attention was focused on the man and woman that were slowly falling in love with each other. You told him how the woman walked away and was eventually poisoned by the Prince's evil stepmother. You told him how the prince tried to wake her up with a kiss, but she didn't wake up. She only woke up when she was kissed by the man she danced with, and had slowly fallen in love with.

When the movie ended, you were going to put on a new movie. Loki grabbed your hand that held the remote.

"Y/n, you know several days ago I was going to tell you something."

"Yes. Is something wrong?"

Loki smiled shaking his head. "No, nothing is wrong. Y/n, you've given me a home and made me feel important. You've been with me through my good days and bad ones. You've done so much for me, even if you didn't really want to. All this time I've gotten to know you, and you are probably the sweetest person I've met."

He turned to fully face you, and he reached out his hand to touch your face. You took a deep breath and took his hand guiding him to your cheek. You leaned into his touch and still held his hand.

"Y/n, I've been falling in love with you. Darling, I love you."

A smile appeared on your face and tears fell down your face. Some touched Loki's hand, and he wiped them away.

"I'm fine. They're just tears of joy. Loki, I was going to tell you the same thing that night, but I got anxious. I don't know why, but that's why I passed out."

Loki placed his other hand on your opposite cheek and connected your forehead to his own. "Next time tell me when you're feeling anxious, and I'll try to help you get through it alright."

You whispered okay and closed your eyes. "Loki can I kiss you?"

"Yes Love."

You wrapped your arms around his neck and softly kissed him. He returned the kiss and moved his hands to your waist. Loki laughed when Leena apparently woke up since she began to bark. You pulled away, and Loki and you pet Leena.

"Darling, I'm so glad you feel the same way. Will you do the honor of being my girlfriend?"

You kissed his cheek. "I'd love to be your girlfriend. Will you be my boyfriend?"

Loki laughed. "I'd be delighted to. Now what should we watch now?"

"How about Tuck Everlasting?"

"Whatever you want Love."
