You decided to look around in the tower's library. You preferred bookstores, but you didn't feel like getting dressed out of your pyjamas.

You walked around looking through the books trying to find something you would like. You liked classics, but it seemed that Tony hadn't stocked the library with new books lately.

Just as you were about to grab another book, another hand tried to grabbed the same book. The only one you knew that would be there was Loki, and you knew that was his hand because his niece painted his nails black the other day. It was so cute to watch their interactions, and it made you like him even more.

Without thinking, you slid your hand to his own and held his own hand pulling it closer to you. You looked up, and you could see him behind the shelf of books. His eyes were wide, but once he saw you, his eyes went soft. You only could see his eyes, but you could tell he was smiling on the other side. In fact, he took your hand squeezing it.

"Hello darling." He whispered.

"Hi." You couldn't help but blush. Then he managed to walk through the book shelf.

"So, we seem to share interests in each other." He rubbed your hands with his thumbs.

"I... I.... No..." You looked down to the floor feeling heat rising to your cheeks.

"Oh y/n, how adorable you are. I think we both know the truth. I think we've known longer than this moment how we really feel."

"I... I'm just nervous... I've never told guys I liked how I felt about them. I've never been in a relationship, and I just... I dunno. I... I do like you though." You looked up to him with red cheeks.

He lifted his hand to touch your cheek. "Y/n, I've never been in a relationship either, but we can figure this out together." He smiled, "I'm not going to force you into a relationship. I want you to do whatever you feel comfortable with, but I also want to let you know how I feel. I would love to begin a relationship with you."

"I... I think I would love to begin a relationship with you... I'm just a little nervous."

"Love, we all get a little nervous when it comes to the unknown, but I'll be right here beside you every step of the way. I promise I'll be there to comfort you, and if you decide that you aren't ready for a relationship, I will still be here for you. I will always be here for you y/n because I care for you."

Your heart was beating rapidly. He always made you feel so warm. You never felt that way about any of your other crushes. You really wanted to be with him, and you realized you needed to take some risks, not that being with Loki was necessarily a risk. After you stopped your debate in your brain, you really looked to him and smiled.

"Yes."

"Yes?"

"Yes. I want to be with you Loki." You giggled raising up your hand to hold onto his hand that was holding your cheek.

"That's... That's fantastic." He laughed picking you up spinning you around before placing you back down. Then he hugged you rubbing your back.

"I can't believe it. I'm no longer a single Pringle. Never thought this day would come." You giggled pulling away looking him in the eyes.

"Darling you truly are adorable."

"I know. " You smiled pecking his cheek.

Then Loki's eyes went wide as a blush spread across his face.

"Who's the adorable blushing one now?" You giggled squeezing his hand.

"Y/n... Fine I am." He rolled his eyes placing his hand under his chin as he fastly blinked.

"Indeed you are. Now let's go to the kitchen. I'm hungry."

Loki just laughed as you both walked to the kitchen hand in hand. You both were so cute together, and you would learn that you absolutely loved being in a relationship with your best friend in the whole galaxy.
