In which Loki was never taken by Odin. However the same couldn't be said for you. Basically you were taken instead of Loki. Also Joutinhiem and Asgard are at peace now.

"Loki, you know better." His father scolded him. He sighed as he gave back the other kid's toy, when in reality it was Loki who was being bullied.

Loki hated his life here. He didn't want to be prince and future king of Joutinhiem at all. He was different not like any of the other Jotun boys or girls. His mother was midgardian and probably died a long time ago. He never even recalled her face. He looked like a human but with the Jotun colors sewn into his skin and dna. What made it worse was that it was his younger step-brother bullied him simply because a "runt Frost giant" would get the throne before him and Laufey would always punish Loki for his other son. All Loki wanted was to escape and be anywhere from the life laid before him. He would do anything to escape to another realm even if that meant marrying a maiden and living there with her. He knew that wouldn't happen though because he thought no one would want him or love him. Not only that, but the poor girl would have to live with him in his cold dreary castle where no vivid colors would bring her happiness nor laughter. He feared she would hate his appearance. He feared that if he did find a maiden and fall in love with her, he would never be able to touch her because he'd burn her. Plus there was no way he was marrying one of the girls who bullied him everyday. He was lonely and all he wanted was for someone to love and understand him. Take him away from the chaos in this barren wasteland.

Your POV:

I knew what my "parents" did. It wasn't hard to find out. I remembered the day I accidentally heard them talk about it. It wasn't a surprise to find out I was a frost giant. Apparently my father was one of King Laufey's strongest fighters in the war. When Odin found him he was holding me with my dead midgardian mother in his arms. He promised Odin that he would be prisoner if Odin promised to keep me safe. Odin agreed putting my father in the prison and raising me as his daughter. Apparently they were going to tell me on my twenty first birthday, in earth years, which was now only a week away. When I heard that however it was many moons before this. My actual father I met on many occasions with the help of the magic I had been taught by Frigga and teaching myself. He was dead now however. He was so kind to me everytime we met.

Life here was okay. I'm glad my father saved me, but I'm just treated differently. My half brother Thor doesn't know about my true heritage but it makes me sad he's so insistent on having war with my people even though both kingdoms are supposedly at peace with one another. I've secretly been once or twice by portals I found throughout Asgard because as princess I wasn't allowed to leave the castle or realm. Typical princess story with the duties and crap. I even visited earth once or twice.

"Come on sister what do you say? You can sneak in with us to go to Joutinhiem."

"Thor, you know I'm not allowed to leave the palace. Plus I'd much rather read or practice my magic and other powers."

"I am going to be King within the next year and I must prove to father I can handle these things and finally put an end to those frost Giants."

"Come on y/n. It will be entertaining."

"No Sif, it will not. The people of Joutinhiem are at peace with us. They've not made threat to us in hundreds of years. Thor this is madness. Sif you are like a sister to me but all you want to do is make Thor happy and impress him since you swoon over him all the days long. And as for the rest of you, you just want to follow my brother wherever he goes. You all could care less about what I say, and I know brother that you will go no matter what I say. Father will not approve of your actions, I promise that. Did you not think of the destruction this could cause, the deaths of innocent people and children. All those men on either side are only following their Kings orders because they think it's right. Think of the wives you will make widows and the children orphaned. You will live in those thoughts for years and it will consume you. Listen to me brother if you love the people of Asgard you won't do this."
