This was the day that Asgard was to unite with Ocrey. Ever since Odin had passed away, and Thor had been crowned King, he, Loki, and Frigga had been doing everything they could to repair ties with other planets. It had been going well, and many treaties of peace had been formed.
If they could form a peace treaty with Ocrey, it would really benefit both planets. Unfortunately, for a long time Ocrey had refused to meet Asgard, but now they were finally coming.
Everyone was bustling around the palace trying to make sure everything was in order. Loki was trying to learn anything he could about Ocrey so that he could impress the King and Queen.
Frigga knew a little of the other kingdom, so they were at a small loss. Thor was mainly going over the peace treaty to make sure it was well.
The day finally arrived, and the three stood behind large golden doors. They all were a bit antsy, but they tried to stay composed.
"I wonder why the King changed his mind? He was always against the idea of forming a peace with us." Frigga spoke.
"Well it seems he wasn't so pleasant, but I've done as much research as I possibly could." Loki whispered squeezing her hand.
"I know, and I appreciate it my dear." She smiled in return.
"Here goes nothing." Thor took a breath walking out the golden doors.
Loki looked to his mother, "Are you ready?"
"Yes." She looked to the opening door putting on a smile.
Loki also put on a smile as he lead his mother out the golden doors and down the stairs.
He couldn't see anyone yet. He was wondering if the King and Queen had changed their minds at the last moment. Of course if that were true, he'd be very disappointed. He and his mother patiently stood behind Thor wondering when they see the King and Queen enter.
Then, he saw people begin to walk toward them. He couldn't tell what they looked like, but he remained patient.
He finally could see them. It was a woman and man who followed at her side. A group of other men and women alike had stopped walking as they continued.
The woman was quite beautiful. She almost seemed to have a glow surrounding her. Loki was completely entranced by her.
"King Thor, Queen Frigga, and Prince Loki, it is an honor to be here today." The lady spoke as she and the man bowed. "If it's possible, may we talk somewhere private?"
"Of course." Thor nodded.
Frigga pulled on Loki's shirt so that they could lead the group to one of the smaller garden rooms. He broke out of his trance realizing he was already seated at a table.
"Thank you for offering Ocrey a chance of true peace with Asgard." She spoke as the man stood near a window.
"I'm sorry to ask, but where is the King and Queen?" Thor whispered wondering if he shouldn't have asked.
The lady frowned looking down. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. So much has happened, and I should've sent a messenger. Just like your family, I've lost people as well. The King and Queen, my father and mother, passed away several weeks ago. I don't even know how they passed. Ever since their passing, everything was thrown to me. I am an only child, and I'm the only one left. You probably all are very confused right now, and I'm sorry. My parents were very protective of me. They never told anyone of my existence until later on in my life. Our people became protective when they found out about me, and that's why no other planet knew about me. I am Queen Y/f/n of Ocrey."
