This Loki is now a member of the Avengers.

Secrets. Sometimes you were good at keeping them, while at other points in your life you weren't very good at keeping them. One such secret was your relationship with your boyfriend Loki.

You both had mutually decided to keep the relationship low-key (eheh I crack myself up) because you didn't want to hear about it from the other teammates. You especially didn't want your older brother to find out.

Clint obviously had a keen sense of sight, so you always had to make sure he didn't see you or Loki holding hands or being to close to get suspicious. Thankfully before you and Loki started to date, you were already close friends so Clint sometimes assumed you were just spending time together as friends.

The side of you that was good at keeping secrets was mainly due to your job working along with Clint, but everyday life secrets were a little harder for you to keep, well not necessarily. You just really wanted everyone to know Loki and you were an item. Loki wanted to tell as well, but you both thought you should wait because you both assumed they'd all eventually figure out on their own.

Thankfully several of the others had a mission, so it was a little easier to do things together as a couple (nothing dirty) such as sitting together and Loki wrapping his arm around your shoulder.

"Hello love." Loki warmly smiled taking your hand in his.

"Loki." You smiled quickly kissing his cheek.

"I recently discovered that Bruce, Shuri, Natasha, and the others went to lunch. I thought we could watch a movie together in the main living room."

"I can't believe they didn't invite us." You pretended to be hurt by the fact then you giggled, "movie day it is then. What movie did you have in mind?"

"Hmmm. What about The Mummy?"

"With Brenden Fraser? Yes please, I love that movie."

"The Mummy it is then." Loki chuckled kissing the top of your head.

You both walked to the living room swinging the hands you both held together. Then you let go when you heard someone walking from the corner.

"Oh... Hi Pepper." You smiled making sure you and Loki weren't too close.

"You know you don't have to hide your relationship. At least not from me." She smiled. "Don't worry I've known for a while, but I haven't told anyone. I get why you want to keep it secret, but you really both should tell eventually.... Anyway, enjoy your day."

With that, she left you both speechless until Loki grabbed your hand again, and you smiled as you both continued to walk to the living room. You then sat on the couch as Loki got the movie from the shelf that holds all the movies. He put the movie in the Blu-ray player then sat down with you wrapping his arm around your shoulder as you leaned your head on his chest.

The movie wasn't scary to you, but some of the scenes were still a little disturbing so you would close your eyes and turn your head so that your face laid on Loki's chest.

"It's okay love. The scene is over." Loki whispered kissing the top of your head as he preferred to do.

Then all of the sudden, the lights turned on, and you heard the sound of a bow string being pulled back.

"Get. Up. Laufeyson."

You pulled away, and you and Loki turned around to see a furious Clint. Loki slowly got up and raised his hands up. "Clint... Let's be civil." He tried to talk to him calmly.

"Civil? You want me to be civil about this? You were cuddling my sister. I'm not planning on being civil with you." Clint drew his bow string as far as it could go.

"Clint please." You walked to him.

"Why y/n? Why him?" He momentarily looked to you.

"Because I-"

"You love him, don't you?" Clint frowned.

The silence was enough to answer his question. "That's it. You're dead."

Before you could do anything, Clint already released the arrow. Loki caught it with ease.

"Really... You're going to shoot a bow at me? Clint, please just understand. I love y/n with all my heart and all my being. Y/n means the universe to me, and I would never wish any harm to come to her." His words made you blush momentarily before your thoughts went back to concern.

Clint was about to punch him when Loki caught the punch. Then he tried to kick him in the privates, but his foot went through Loki's illusion.

The real Loki appeared beside you holding your hand. Clint turned around nostrils flaring at the sight of you and Loki holding hands.

"Clint please stop. Don't you want me to be happy?"

"Yes, but not with him."

"Clint, Loki makes me happy. I love you, but you have to understand that I can make my own decisions. Loki and I have been dating for almost a year now. You were fine when we were friends, and Loki and I are still best friends. The only difference is that the space between boy and friend is gone."

"Also we plan to one day wed." Loki smiled looking to you, and you looked to him also smiling.

"Can't you truly see how happy they are Clint? I can't believe you didn't notice they were together sooner." Nat walked up to Clint.

"Nat..."

"Clint, y/n didn't get mad when we got together. She was happy for us, and shouldn't we be happy for Loki and her?" Nat kissed Clint's cheek as he looked to her rolling his eyes, but he finally smiled.

"Fine. I'm sorry. I hope you both can forgive me. I don't know why I reacted the way I did. To be honest, I could see how happy you both were beforehand, and I think I knew you both were or would get together. I just... It's just y/n, you're my little sister, and I know you're growing up. I just... Don't want you to grow up." He laughed a little.

"It's okay Clint."

"I'm sorry I tried to shoot you, punch you, and kick you..." Clint looked to Loki, embarrassed.

"It's alright Clint. All is well." Loki extended his hand, and Clint shook his hand.

"Well we're going to leave now." Nat said taking Clint's hand walking away.

You then looked back to Loki and smiled. "Well that was... Something."

"Indeed it was... How about we finish the rest of the movie now."

"Of course." You took his hand and kissed him sweetly not really caring if anyone else saw.

Loki wrapped his arms around your waist pulling closer as you wrapped you're arms around his neck. It was the first time you had actually been able to share a kiss together without worrying about what the others might say, and you both savored the moment. Eventually you both pulled apart smiling brightly as you both walked back to the couch finishing the rest of the movie in sweet peace.
