A/n: haven't read Gatsby in a while so sorry if it isn't accurate. Though it's not really necessary.  Though I do know some things I add won't obviously be in it, the actual story isn't really in this so yeah. Also Loki will be with the Avengers, though they aren't really the Avengers if you get what I mean. As in there's nothing bad. They're just living life as friends with normal lives, anyways. Let's begin shall we?

Loki's POV:

Oh how I am surprised. Normally Tony is throwing his own parties, making us attend. Now he's insisted that we all go to this Gatsby man's party because someone said his parties were more extravagant. I really should have just stayed in my apartment.

Whoever said this Gatsby man's parties were more extravagant was somewhat correct. Not that I really cared, but they both were on par with one another. Loud, obnoxious, crazy, need I say more? I did have on a nice tux though, and I slicked my hair back. Everyone was all dressed up, however they did not match Gatsby's theme of mainly gold.

"Alright everyone, let's meet back here at the front by midnight. Please do not do anything stupid." Tony's wife, Pepper told us.

Everyone has already scattered and I was left alone. Not that it didn't already happen. I walked into the mansion and explored. It was too crowded for my taste, and my anxiety was increasing.

I wanted some quiet so I tried to find a quiet room or somewhere. Let me say, there are some things I wish I never had to our will ever have to see. I was scared that I would never find a quiet place.

I was about to give up when I found two golden doors. Something about them said I should go in. I placed my hands on the golden knobs breathing in deeply hoping that I had found a quiet place.

I walked in and sighed for multiple reasons. Mainly the silence and the fact that I had just found a sea of books in the library.

It was... Amazing. The grandest library I had ever seen. So many books and shelves that made a maze I never wanted to escape.

That's when I saw someone in there. A woman with an elegant gold dress and headdress as well. Her hair was quite longer than most the other girls. She had a mysteriousness to her and that's when she turned around.

The woman had such stunning features. She didn't smile; she just looked at me as if she were trying to talk to me through her mind.

"Hello." I finally spoke.

"You wanted to escape the life of the party, yes?" She responded.

"Yes. How... How did you know?"

"Because no one visits the library unless they're trying to escape other than Owl Eyes well Mr Percy... I should know." She put the book she was currently holding back on the shelf. Then she walked closer to me.

"You really want a nice place with a good view? Take my hand." She held out her hand, but I wasn't sure what to do.

"Well, you coming? I'm not gonna bite you know." She giggled, and I finally took hold of her hand.

"There we go, now come on." She dragged me behind her, and I had to make sure not to step on her dress, it probably cost more than my whole apartment.

She lead me to a shelf pulling out a book that opened a secret door. It lead to a balcony with a veiw of the lake, and it must be on the back of the house. The furniture was luxurious as always, and she motioned for me to sit down so I did.

"So what's your name?" She asked.

"Loki Odenry."

"Loki, like Norse mythology Loki?"
