"It's such a lovely day out." I giggled snuggling deep into my Loki's chest.

"It is indeed my love. You know, I'm really glad I found a portal to Midguard. If I didn't I would've never found you." He kissed the top of my head.

"I just can't believe there's other worlds out there. No one would believe me. I mean it's 1978 and Star Wars has been out, but still... As people get more alien related things, they still wouldn't believe it's all real." I was finishing my flower crown.

"Then let them not know dear. I'd rather you have and know about me alone then your whole planet." He smiled.

I then decided to put the gold sunflowers on Loki's head. I adjusted them and he chuckled kissing me softly.

"Do your have a mirror y/n? I'd much like to see my appearance."

I nodded pulling out my little mirror handing it to him so he could see his reflection.

"It's gorgeous dear. Now let me bestow a crown to you." I felt green mist on my head which slightly tickled. Then Loki returned the mirror.

"Oh Loki... It's... beautiful." I touched the golden circlet crown with vine and flower designs on it. It was the most beautiful thing I had laid my eyes on. Then I looked back to Loki. He looked offish, like there was something he wanted to say.

"Loki... Is something bothering you?"

He looked to me almost with a pained smile. "I'm fine princess. Can we um... Listen to that band you love so much now?"

"Pink Floyd? Of course." I opened my record player putting in the record and letting the music play.

"Would you dance with me?" He offered his hand, and I gratefully took it.

He waltzed with me for a while until he just put his arms around my waist circling with me as he hummed along with the tune of the song. I still had this gut feeling that something was really bothering him, but I didn't want to push him into talking when he didn't want to.

We continued to dance until I noticed the dark clouds looming in the sky and a low grumble of thunder began.

"Loki, I think we should take our picnic inside."

"Let's." I tried to tell him to let me carry some things, but he refused caring all the things we brought out back into my countryside house. It was a good thing too, because the rain began to pour.

We both snuggled on the couch, and Loki played with my long hair. (I mean hippie esk time though you're not really a hippie, but if you have short hair and still want short hair, then go ahead.) I left the music on letting the music, rain, and thunder combine to make a cacophony of sound.

"Y/n... I need to tell you something."

I worridley sat up turning my body to face him.

"I want to tell you, I love you so very much. I really do. Coming here to see you always makes me happy, and I wish I could stay here with you forever. However, sneaking here to see you is getting harder and harder. I think father is suspicious. Y/n... I... I have to leave and I don't know the next time I shall return. I can't risk you getting hurt at the hand of my father. If he knew, it would be worse for you, and I just can't see you hurt. I love you y/n."

I couldn't help but tear up. He was my first love, my first kiss, my first and only boyfriend. Then I noticed him pulling out something from his pocket. Then he revealed what it was.

"This is a promise ring. It's my promise to return to you one day. It's my promise that I will remain loyal to only you." I noticed the ring was a golden snake with green eyes, (I know the picture is red but I'm going with green) and I couldn't help but giggle.
