Ella's POV.
She and Iris were at the house surrounded by police cars. Suddenly there was a loud crash. Iris and Ella rushed to the window to see a police car flipped over. They gasped. Ella turned around and yelled. "Iris!" Iris turned and gasped. Tony was standing in front of them. "Hey Iris. And what a surprise! Nice to see you to Ella." Ella glared at him.
Tony dragged both the girls to their old school. "Remember this place?" "So what's the plane here Tony? You finally gonna go for that GED?" Ella asked. "You wanna plan? Okay here's the plan." He turned to Iris. "Iris, you used to write about the Streak. Now you gonna write about me." "You just abducted us Tony. Why would I do that?"
"Because the Streak is dead." "That's not true." Ella said. "No." Iris said. "Squashed like a little bug. So if you don't want the same thing to happen to both of you your going to tell whole world that there's a new big man on campus!" He yelled. The two jumped back slightly.
"I'm just getting started." "You can have anybody write about you. Why me?" "Because I like you Iris. I always have. And if you won't write about me ten I can always get her to do it. She works CCPN now. "I will never write about you." Iris walked up to Tony. "You know...you should have said something earlier." She smiled. Then she pulled the fire alarm and ran.
Emily took off running as well. He grabbed Iris. "Try anything like that again and...." Ella didn't hear anything because she was running. She was going to run and get help.
Just then a flash of lighting flew past her, but then came back. It was him. The Streak. "Are you okay?" He asked. He was doing something weird with his voice. "Y-Yes I'm fine. But my friend she's still in there!" "It's okay I'll get her. Now go! Hurry!" Ella listened and ran.
Later at home Iris and Barry had gone to talk for a bit. Ella was glad, because she hated that they were fighting. Barry came in the door and was smiling. As soon as he saw Ella his face grew to concern. "Hey, I heard that Tony kidnapped you and Iris." "Yeah, well I was lucky enough to get away."
Barry sat down on the couch with you. "I was really worried when I found out." "I know you were. . .I saw him." "Who?" "The Streak. I was on my way to get help, when a flash of lightning flew past me. It was incredible." Barry smiled and his eyes lit up. "Really?" "Yeah. He stopped and asked me if I was okay. Then he went to save Iris. He does this weird thing with his voice. You can't even tell what he actually sounds like." "Wow. Cool."
"Yeah. Oh and guess what?" "What?" "He said yes. Iris told me." "That's great Ella!" "I know. I was sure he'd say no, but I guess I was wrong." "Guess so." They say in silence.
"I'm sure you were worried to death when you found out about Iris." "Well yeah. She's my best friend. Same for you." "No." "No? What do you- what are taking about?" "It wasn't the same type of worry Barry." "I don't under-" "You love her, Barry." Barry froze. "Don't you?" Barry shifted his eyes back and forth. "Love Iris? Of course I love her. She like a sister to me." "No Barry." Ella sighed and looked him in the eyes. "Your inlove with her aren't you?" She saw fear and worry in his eyes. "I uh...how did you know?"
She breathed a sad laugh. "The way you look at her as if she's your world, the way your eyes sparkle and light up when she enters a room or anytime you see her, the way you lean on her and try to protect her. I notice Barry." He looked at Ella in awe. "How long have you known." "Honestly, I noticed it when we were kids, but I never wanted to admit it. Then the day I came back I noticed it quite a lot." Barry looked at her in confusion. "Admit it? Why didn't you want to admit it?"
"You two were already really close back then. And if you can remember you and I were the first ones to meet. Actually we were best friends for 3 years until we met Iris." "We were still best friends." "Yeah, but it never was the same after that. Now I know why. You were inlove. You never looked at me like you did her or acted the same around me as you did with her. You always seemed to gravitate to her and seemed closer. I used to think it was because you did like me anymore, but it wasn't because of that."
