Hey everyone! I am so sorry it took me so long to update! I has a lot going on these past few months. I had a lot of graduation plans to get done and finals to study for, but I'm finally back! Ive been working super hard on this chapter so I hope you enjoy! 💜💜💜

Ella's POV.

Saturday finally arrived. Over the days Barry had learned to walk with a cane. He had made great progress. In the morning Ella took Barry to STAR Labs. The whole way there Barry was silent. She didn't understand why he was so down. He had no reason to be. He was going to be able to walk again. Run again.

Ella on the other hand...she had a reason. One she couldn't disclose. As soon as Barry was able to walk on his own again, Ella would have to move out. Barry would no longer need her to take care of him. Ella tried to push away her feelings, but try as she might they all cane flooding back to her.

Once she and Barry had arrived at STAR Labs Caitlin took a scan of Barry's spine. Caitlin then announced to Barry that she wanted him to try and walk. He was hesitant, but agreed to try. Joe helped stood next to him as he walked with his cane to the center of the room. "Alright, I got you." Joe assured Barry. "Okay." He whispered. Ella looked up at Barry. When he nodded she slowly took his cane away.

Everyone watched, holding their breath as Barry took a step. Then another. And finally a third. Suddenly he bent over in pain. "I can't do it right now, alright?" He said reaching for his cane. Ella handed it to him and helped him sit down in his electric wheelchair. "Yes you can, Barry." Joe said. Barry shook his head and looked over at Ella.

Ella and Iris both looked at each other. He just wouldn't try. "You we're making so much progress." "Yeah three whole steps give me a Boso-Button." "Hey give yourself some credit. You just broke your back." Cisco encouraged him. Barry suggested heavily. "Yeah, a normal person would have been paralyzed the rest of his life." Iris added.

"How long until I'm fully healed?" Caitlin looks up at the screen. "The initial MRI I took a week ago showed a complete dislocation of the T-12 to L-1 Inner Space Thorough Columbar Junction." Everyone looked at the MRI scans. "This is the MRI I took this morning. It's remarkable, but you're almost completely healed."

"I'm still having trouble breathing." Caitlin nodded. "That's totally normal with a spinal injury. It should clear up soon." Barry turned his chair to look at his suit. "We're going to get you back in that suit Bare real quick. Trust me." Joe said. Ella watched Barry in sympathy.

"What are we going to do about Zoom?" He asked. "No sign of him since Cisco bailed him with that trial dart. "I haven't vibed since then." Cisco added. Anne Zoom's not coming back." Iris said.

"I highly doubt that." Harry said walking in. "Which is why I'm going to go do something about it." Caitlin stopped him. "What do you mean?" "I need access to your breach room and your speed cannon." "Why is that?" Barry asked Harry. "Because...it's time to go home."

After a bit of arguing Harry walked out, telling Caitlin he would be leaving with or without the teams assistants. "What are you doing?" Cisco asked her. "He wants to leave...Bye." "Look like it or not Cisco we need his help." "I'm not sure another plan from Well's is what we need." Joe said. "Yeah I mean the last bright idea he had nearly got Barry killed." Iris added.

"I know, but Jay's gone and Harry knows Zoom better than anyone. So until Barry is back on his feet again we need to keep Well's around Incase he returns." Ella decide to finally speak up. "I agree with Caitlin." She said stepping away from Barry's side to face the group. "If Zoom comes back and we don't have the Flash...we need to be prepared. And the only way we can do that at this point is with Harry's help. Like Caitlin said. He knows Zoom better than anyone here."
