Ella's POV.
The next day Ella had just gotten dressed and was going to go to the park for a bit. Just then she heard a knock at the door. She opened it. She smiled. "Barry, hey." She greeted him. "Hey. Can I come in?" He asked. She nodded. He walked in. "Hey, so...I just wanted to talk. You know, about last night." He said. "Oh, okay." She said setting her purse down. He eyed it. "Oh! Were you going somewhere? We can always talk later." He said. She smiled and shook her head. "No. Really it's fine I was just going out for a walk, but this is more important." She said folding her arms.
"Okay. Well, I just wanted to know...what are we exactly?" He asked. She tilted her head. "What do you mean?" She asked. "I mean where do we go from here. I mean last night...you know my secret now and we both confessed some...important things to one-another." He rambled.
She giggled at him and walked closer, putting her arms around his neck. "What do you want us to be?" She asked. He stayed frozen. "I, uh..." She interrupted him. "Barry, I love you. Mask or no mask." She said seriously. He looked at her in wonder. "I love you so much." He said. She smiled and leaned up, pressing her lips against his. After a few seconds she pulled away.
Barry smiled at her. His arm hugged her waist. "I want to show you something." He told her. He took her hand. "If we're going to make his work, I want there to be complete honesty between us. No secrets." He told her. She nodded. He scooped her up in his arms bridal style. She laughed. "What are we doing?" She asked. "You'll see. Now hold on tight." He told her.
Then suddenly like lightning the city lights raced passed them. Her hair flew away from her face. He came to a stop and she looked around. She was in a room at Star Labs. There, sitting at a desk were a surprised Caitlyn and Cisco.
"Woah! Barry what're you doing?!" Cisco shouted in alarm. "Secret identity." Caitlyn glared at him. He laughed and let her down. "No, guys it's good. She knows." "She...knows?" Caitlyn asked. "Yeah. We're kinda...together." He told them.
Cisco smiled. "Cool!" He walked over to her. "Okay so we've met. I'm Cisco Barry's wing man/tech-master. I make make all the toys." Cisco told her. Ella smiled widely. Caitlyn went up to her and shook her hand. "Hi. Barry's personal physician. And member of Team Flash." She smiled. Barry smiled at Caitlyn. "What? I've grown to like the name." She said in defense. Barry nodded. "Wow. Cool!" She exclaimed.
"Yes. Very cool." A man in a wheelchair said. They all turned to him. Barry went over to him. "Dr. Wells..." "Barry, who is she?" He asked firmly. "Umm...this is my uh, girl...my uh, fr-uh..." He stuttered awkwardly. "I'm his girlfriend, Ella. Ella Peters." She said interrupting him. "Yeah. She's my girlfriend." He agreed smiling.
"I see. Barry you know how we agreed that getting anyone outside of our circle involved was a bad idea." He told Barry. "I know, but Dr. Wells...she can be trusted and...we're kinda... serious." Barry said. Dr. Wells just sat there and examined Ella.
"Hmm...Miss Peters." He began. She nodded. "It's seems you've just joined Team Flash." He said. She smiled at Barry's who smiled back as well. "Don't worry sir. I won't tell a soul." She promised. "Let's hope not." He answered. Her smiled faded. He wheeled passed her. "I'm going to Big Belly Burger. I'll be back soon." He said. He seemed quite upset.
"Okay? That didn't go so well." She said outloud. Barry shook his head and put his arm around her. "No. Trust me. He's just...he doesn't like change, but he'll get to know you and everything will be fine." He told her. She smiled slightly. He kissed her head.
"Yeah. Don't worry. Dr. Wells, has some slight issues trusting people and that whole scary, principle attitude...it goes away. Kinda...Mostly...Not...really, but...." Cisco said unsurely. "Cisco!" Caitlyn scolded. "Don't listen to him. Come on Ella. Let me show you around." She said and lead her away.
"Okay so this is the lab, where we run all the tests. And there's Cisco's speed treadmill." She pointed through a glass window. "Speed treadmill?" She asked. "That's where we can test Barry's spread and see how fast he's going. We can all test his vitals as he's running." She answered. "I see. So like a superhero stress test." Ella concluded. "Yeah. Exactly." Caitlyn smiled. The two laughed.
"You know Barry talks about you, all the time." She commented. Ella giggled. "I'm sure that's not true. You see before he was inlove with Iris." She said. "Yes, but even when he said he was inlove with her, he talked about you way more. Cisco would almost go crazy. Once he literally told him to shut up." Caitlyn laughed. Ella laughed as well. "Well...don't say anything, but...I kind of talk about Barry all the time too." She admitted. Caitlyn smiled and laughed. "I won't. You know, it's going to be great having another girl around here." She said.
"I'm sure, hey umm...Barry told me about what happened to his mom. Do you think what he saw could have been...someone like him? You know someone with super speed?" She asked. Caitlyn sighed. "Barry wonders that too. Honestly, I don't know. I think it's very possible, but we haven't found any other speedsters like him yet, so...he may be the only one." She said.
Ella nodded. "I wish there was away to probe his dad's innocents. I wasn't here when it happened, but I knew Mr. Allen and he would have never killed Nora. It wouldn't make sense. The only thing that would make more sense now, would be another speedster." She told Caitlyn. "I agree. I've heard about him and he sounds like a wonderful sweet man. He didn't deserve what happened to him." Caitlyn said.
"We actually are trying to uncover the mystery behind his mothers murder, while we try and keep the city safe." Caitlyn added. Ella nodded. "Good. And I ant to help too. I can try to find some information on it form my newspaper." She said. "That would be great!" Caitlyn smiled. "Come on. Let's go back and see what the boys are up to." She said.
They walked in to see Cisco and Barry talking. Suddenly an alarm went off. Barry looked over to Cisco. "Twenty-third and Broadway." Cisco told Barry, while looking at a computer screen. "Got it." He said. He ran to his suit and had it on in a flash. He looked over to Ella. "I'll be back." He kissed her lips then ran off. Her hair blew around her face and papers went flying off the desk. "Wow." She whispered.
Her thoughts about the incredible guy she was dating were interrupted by Caitlyn voice. "I need to remember to get some paper weights." Caitlyn said, now on the ground picking up all the papers. Ella laughed and began to help her. "I'll get some." Ella smiled. They both laughed and picked up the papers.
