Barry's POV.

When Barry had decided to kiss Ella it had been an in the moment decision. He had already thought about doing it, but after he had heard that she had wanted to kiss him earlier, he just had to kiss her. After kissing her he felt bad. He knew he wasn't completely over Iris. As the flash though, he had always felt more connect to Ella, than Iris, but as Barry...it was always Iris. Maybe it was because of how he grew up with her. Ella had gone away and all he had was Iris.

What Ella had said was partly true though. When he was younger he had begun to have a slight crush on Iris, but before...he had already had a huge crush on Ella. He had always tried to bug her and make her say his full name. He thought it was adorable how she said it. He also would make believe that she was a princess and he was a knight. He would pick flowers for her and pretend to save her from an evil Queen. Barry remember one time where they played that she was sleeping beauty.

******************flashback*****************
Ella laid down on the grass as he pretend to fight of a dragon. She tried to pretend to be asleep, but kept giggling. Finally he made it to her and leaned over her. She giggled. "How is the prince supposed to wake the princess with a kiss if she's giggling so much?" He asked. "Sorry." She smiled and tried her best to be still. Barry looked upon her. She was so pretty. He leaned down nervously and kissed her lips and leaned back up. She opened her eyes and stared at Barry. He stared at her as well. "Hi." She said almost in a daze. "Hi." Barry felt like her had done something wrong and tried to act like it never happened. "Oh no! The dragons back!" He yelled and ran after his invisible dragon. Ella yelled for him to wait, but he ignored her.
***************end of flashback*************
Barry walked into Jitters to get a cappuccino, when he went in he saw Ella sitting alone at a table. Barry knew he would have to go and talk to her. She didn't know that he was the one who had kissed her. For all she knew the Flash had been the one to kiss her.

He walked over to her. He couldn't help but feel heat rush to his cheeks. She was staring of into space and hadn't noticed him there. "Ella?" She jerked her head towards him. She smiled. She was blushing furiously. "Barry! Hi! I didn't see you come in." She said. "Yeah, you kinda seemed like you were in your own word there." He said chuckling nervously. She smiled. "Yeah...I guess I just have a lot on my mind." She answered. Barry sat down across from her. "Want to talk about it?" He asked.

She looked down. "Something...happened last night." She said. Barry's heart beat quickened. "R-Really? What happened?" He asked. "The Flash visited me again." "Oh?" He tried to stop thinking about the kiss. "And? What happened to make you so...spacey?" He asked. "He..." She began. "He what? He didn't hurt you, did he?" He asked. He had wanted her to enjoy the kiss as much as he did. He never wanted to hurt her. "No! No. He would never hurt me or anyone." She said firmly. Barry felt himself smile. "Then what did he do?" He asked.

"He kissed me, Barry." She said cautiously. Barry felt his heart racing. He could still remember the feeling. "He kissed you?" She nodded. "I see. Are you glad he did?" He asked. She opened her mouth to answer, but closed it. "I shouldn't be telling you all of this." Barry put his hand on hers. "Ella I'm your best friend. It's okay. Tell me."

She bit her lip. "I am. I've wanted to kiss him for so long." She told Barry. He fought a smile. "You have?" He asked her. She blushed. "Yeah. I didn't know he felt the same way, but last night we were standing under the mistletoe you hung up. He asked if I wanted him to kiss me and then told me that..." Barry remembered exactly how he had felt when he had said those words. All he wanted to do in that moment was to take her in his arms and kiss her forever. "Yeah?" He breathed. She inhaled. "He told me that he very much wanted to kiss me and he did. It was amazing." She breathed. Barry couldn't have agreed more. A smile formed on his lips.

"And you know, what's interesting is that...after we had been kissing all of the sudden..." She leaned closer to him and whispered. "It was like his lips gave me an electric shock or something." She blushed. Barry couldn't help, but blush as well. When he had been kissing her it had felt like all of the electricity in his body had been activated. "Really?" He asked scratching the back of his neck. She nodded. "I've never had anyone kiss me like that before." She mused. Barry agreed. He had honestly never kissed someone like that before. It was meaningful.

"So what seems to be the problem?" He asked. She sighed. "I think...I think I may be inlove with him." She revealed. Barry almost fell out of his chair. She was inlove with him. "Your inlove with him?" He repeated. She nodded. "I think I am. Which is where the problem comes in. He's a masked hero. I don't even know who he is, yet I'm finding myself falling completely head over heals inlove with him." She explained. Barry nodded. "That is a problem." He agreed.

"I know that if he feels the same way, he won't ever want to tell me his identity. He will want to keep me safe, but honestly I would rather know and be able to help him." She said. "Is he inlove with you too?" He asked. "I think so. If that kiss meant anything...he sure acted like he is. But who knows...he may do that with all the girls." Barry felt slightly hurt by her comment. "I doubt that. Hey...umm....I was meaning to talk to you...about last night by the way." He finally brought up.

"What do you mean?" She asked. "When we were under the mistletoe." He answered. She looked down and nodded. He could tell she was disappointed. Barry wondered how she could be inlove with the flash and still wish that he would have kissed her. "What about it?" She asked. "Ella, I-"

That's when Iris came walking in. "Hey Barry. Hey Ella! What's up?" "Oh. I was actually getting ready to go. I'll see you two later." Ella said awkwardly. She was obviously leaving to let Iris and Barry be alone. "Hey Ella wait-" She had already gone out the door. Barry sighed. He had wanted to talk to her about not kissing her. He didn't want her to think he had anything against her. She was perfect.
