Barry's POV.

After trying to talk to Doctor Light Barry was blinded. He went back to STAR Labs, where Caitlin looked him over. "I still can't see. How long is this gonna last?" He asked her. "Your suffering from solar retinopathy. Your retina's are severely damaged. Your lucky your not permanently blind." She said. "But with your rapid regeneration abilities your eye sight should return soon." Jay assured him.

"Six point to five hours, by my estimation. This all could have been avoided if you just stopped light instead of chit-chatting with her." Harry said. "She caught Barry off guard." Jay defended. "Always an excuse with you, right? He's the fastest man alive how could she possibly do that?" Harry asked.

"Because Light looks exactly like my ex-girl friend. Linda Park." Barry explained. "That's why Zoom sent her. Because he knew you'd hesitate." Harry deduced. "That means Zoom would had to have known somehow that Linda was your ex." Cisco spoke. Barry tried to concentrate on each persons voice. "Which is why Barry has to act now before Zoom sends another double form Barry's life." Harry said.

"Right now I'm more worried about Linda. When I saw who was under the mask I said her name. What if Light didn't even realize she had a doppelgänger here until I accidentally told her." Barry said in concern.

"The first thing Adam-Smasher did when he crossed the breach was kill his doppelgänger." Cisco remembered. "Yeah, but Light's not like Adam-Smasher." Jay defended. "We should keep an eye on your Linda." Harry said with finality. "Alright. I'll go." Barry said getting up.

As soon as he got up he bumped into something. It made a small sound. "Sorry." He apologized knowing he had most likely bumped into Caitlin. "Bro." He heard Cisco day. "Barry!" Jay called. Barry turned around. "What?" He asked, bumping into a hard mass. Barry winced and turned back around. "Oh!" He exclaimed.

He felt someone grab his shoulders. "Okay, okay you can't do anything uh, until your sight returns." Jay explained. "Come on here's the rail here." Jay said leading Barry to the railing. Barry stood there feeling helpless. He hated this feeling. He pierced his lips in frustration. "I'll do it." Jay said. "I'll go with you." Caitlin called as her heals clicked on tile the floor.

"Hey, Barry! I came as soon as I heard-" He heard Iris begin, but she stopped. "You look just like him." She said in awe. "I'm guess my counter part did something to offend her as well." Harry deduced. "Her fiancé died because of him." Cisco told Harry coldly. "Oh." Harry responded in a bored tone.

"Iris I know it's weird seeing him-" Barry began. "Yeah it's just a lot to process lately. Wells, my mother. . ." She said. Barry turned in the direction of her voice. "How are you doing with that by the way?" He asked. "I mean now that she's gone. . .okay I guess." She said form behind him.

Barry turned around. "Yeah. . . Iris look. . ." He reaches out his hand. She giggled and took it. "Oh know you can talk to me about it." He assured her. "Yeah I know, but you have alto going on and. . .really I'm fine, okay? I should be asking how your doing." She patted his arm.

Barry's phone began to buzz. "That's me!" He realized. "I got it." He said as he felt his way to his phone. He heard Iris laugh. "Barry! Let me help you." "Alright." He have in.

She read the text out loud. "Running a little late. - P. Whose P?" She asked. "Oh P. That's Patty." He said remembering the date he was supposed to go on. "My Dad's partner Patty?" Iris asked "What is she running late for?"

Barry grimaced just thinking about it. "Um our first date." He said. "That's so great! She's great!" Iris exclaimed, only half-heartedly. "Yeah she's great, but you know I doubt she's going to give me another shot when I have to cancel on her." He sighed.
