Barry's POV.

Barry went over to Ella's apartment. He had made sure to look his best. Before knocking on her door he pulled his blue sweater down and ran a hand through his hair. He then took a deep breath and knocked on her door. It took a few seconds, but she opened it.

Ella wore a sleek, black skirt with a red sweater, and red high heels. He noticed it was different than what she had worn before. The last time she wore jeans with a red and white sweater and boots. Why had it changed?

"Hey, Bare! Come on in!" She smiled happily. "Hey." He answered waking inside. She closed the door. "Ella, you look...amazing." He said breathlessly. She smiled and looked down. "Thanks. You look really nice too. Where are your friends?" She asked. "Uh, they couldn't make it. They do really want to meet you though. Maybe some other time." She nodded understandingly.

Just then Iris and Eddie walked over to them. Barry remembered what he had done. Great. He thought. "Hey Barry." Eddie smiled. "Hey Eddie. Congratulations by the way." He smiled. Iris looked sadly at Barry. "Awe thanks. We're really excited." Eddie said. "I'm sure you are." "You okay Barry?" Iris asked in concern. "Yeah. I'm fine. Really." He told her. She nodded. "Well, we're gonna go get a drink." Eddie said. "Okay." Barry answered.

Ella turned to Barry. "What was that about?" She asked. "I uh, might have told Iris how I felt." He answered. Ella looked at him in surprise. "Really? I take it, it didn't turn out to well." She answered. He shook his head and shrugged. "It's okay. I'm over it. I honestly don't have feelings for her like I did." He said. "Really? That soon?" She asked.

"Yeah. Actually I think I may be interested in someone else. I've been interested in her for a while now. I've just never admitted it." He told Ella. She smiled. "Oh really? Who?" Ella asked. "Well, actually..."

Just then there was a knock at the door. Ella answered it. She smiled widely and took the person at the door by their arm. She closed the door. It turned out to be a tall, muscular man with brown hair and brown eyes. "Barry, I want you to meet someone." She smiled. "Barry, this is Scott Beckett. Scott this is my best friend, Barry." She introduced. They shook hands. Scott was only an inch taller than Barry and he had a wider build. "Hey, nice to meet you." Scott said. "You too." Barry answered.

"Hey, Scott. Why don't you go and get something to drink. I'll be over there in a sec." She said putting her hand on his arm. He smiled. "Okay." Ella looked after him and then looked back to Barry.

"So? What do you think?" She asked. Barry furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean?" "Well...do you like him?" She asked. "I guess. He seems nice. Why do you ask?" He asked, looking back over to the man. "I wanted you to meet him and see what you thought of him, because...Scott and I are going out." She said.

Barry's eyes widened and his head snapped back to her. "What?" She nodded and looked at him weirdly. "Yeah, he asked me this afternoon and I said yes. I wanted you to meet him though before we went out. I mean your my best friend so..."

Barry felt panicked. How could he have asked her out? When? Barry knew everything that was going to happen. Ella had been decorating all day. She hadn't even been at work. "But...you didn't go to work today. How could he have seen you?" He asked. "He came by the apartment this afternoon, to return a file I had left, then he asked me out." She told Barry.

Barry looked away. He had come over at the time Barry came over before. Then Barry remembered that on his way to her apartment before, he had seen Scott come off the elevator and walk in the direction Barry was walking. When Barry got to her door though, Scott had turned around and headed to the elevator. If only Barry would have gone to see her earlier. He should have listened to Dr. Wells. He should have done everything the same way.

"Barry?" He heard Ella ask. He looked back at her. "Huh? Yes?" He asked. "I kinda lost you for a second there. You okay?" She asked. "Yeah...I'm just... so you two are a thing now?" He asked. "Yeah. I guess so. Is...that okay?" She asked. He or on a completely fake smile. "Yeah. Of course. As long as your happy." She smiled. "Good. Well, I'm gonna go over and keep him company. I'll see you later." She walked off.

Barry sighed. He had blown his chance with her. Later on during the party Barry looked over to see Ella and Scott talking. Just then he saw them look up noticing that they were under mistletoe. Barry shatter as he watched the two share a small kiss. That was supposed to be him.

Just then Joe walked over to Barry. "We gotta go. Snart's just been spotted at the Santini's casino. This could mean a mob war." Joe told him. Barry eyes widened. Things just got bad. "Okay." Barry walked over to Ella and told her that he had to go because of something at the lab. She understood.

He left and ran to the casino as the Flash. During the fight, Barry encountered Snarts sister who had a golden gun. He raced over to her and held her to him. "Drop the gun!" He yelled to Snart. "Oh we know your not going to hurt her. Flash meet my baby sister. Flash, Lisa. Lisa, Flash." She smiled at him.

"Cisco has been very busy. Unless you want me to mail you small frozen pieces of him back to his family...I suggest you take your hands off her." Snart said. Barry glared at the man. He released her. "Let him go, Snart." He growled. "I'll think about it." He answered and walked out with his sister.

Later on Barry told Joe what had happened. He then went to Star Labs. Dr. Wells was looking at images from a video cam. "So there's Cisco getting into a car with Snarts sister. And the license plate is iced over." He said.

Barry slammed his fist against the desk angrily. "Alright. Dr. Wells, you were right. I-I mess with time and now time is messing with me. Cold is back, he kidnapped Cisco and Ella she..." "Stop right there before you cause another disruption to the time line." Dr. Wells said firmly. "Please, Dr. Wells. Please. I have to talk to someone." Barry begged. "Go ahead." Dr. Wells said, finally.

"In the previous version of today, Captain Sing is seriously injured, Joe is in danger, Ella and I kiss as me and as the Flash, I finally tell her who I am, and both end up together, and Iris admits she has feelings for me." Barry explained. "Now Cisco's life's is on the line and I assume this Ella person has no memory of kissing you, finding out your the Flash, somehow there is no way you two can be a couple, and Iris has no idea that she confessed her true feeling for you."

Barry nodded. "Ella she...I messed up. I thought that if I waited to talk to her, instead of going to see her like I did before...that everything would be fine, but...everything's not fine. Instead of me coming to see her, a guy named Scott went to see her and now they're a couple." He said sadly. "I ruined everything."

Dr. Wells nodded. "So her feelings have now transferred to someone else." Barry nodded sadly. "But...I mean she still has them for me right? They're there." He asked. "The unconscious mind, Barry is a powerful thing. Without you there to talk to her she has placed those feelings she feels for you onto another person. She does still have those feelings, but without whatever it was that made her confess her feelings to you...she won't admit her feelings." He explained.

Barry shook his head. "I don't understand. I thought I was helping people by stopping Mardin." He said. "Yes, but this new ability that you have is dangerous. What if you hadn't travelled back just one day. What if you had traveled back decades?" He paused taking off his glasses. "Centuries. Imagine the havoc you could wreak." He told him.

Barry nodded. "But I will be able to travel back in the near future and save my mom. Your saying I shouldn't?" He asked. "I'm saying how many other people will die...if your mother lives?" He asked. Barry looked down.

Later Cisco came to Star Labs. Everyone was thrilled, but confused as to why Snart had let him go. Cisco explained that Snart was torturing his brother and that he threatened to kill him if he didn't tell who the Flash was. Cisco felt terrible. He had revealed Barry's identity. Barry understood and comforted his friend.

He went to see Snart in the woods. They had a long talk and made a deal that if Snart would keep Barry's identity a secret and if he would stop killing so many people, that Barry wouldn't lock he and his sister up. Barry told him though, that if he went near any of his friends or family again even if he would release his identity to the public, that he would lock him up. With that Barry left.
