Trap

Ella's POV.

Ella, Cisco, Caitlin and Iris all stood in the main lab. Barry had run to Keystone City and was going to try out the tacion enhancer. Luckily Ella didn't have to come into work that day so she could be at STAR Labs. "Okay you guys. I'm here! You got my location?" Barry's Clive echoes through the speakers. "Yeah. You good? Don't need to stretch or anything?" "No, no, no. I'm good. I'm good." "Alright. Let's take this new tachyon enhancer out for a test drive." Cisco said, activating the tachyon enhancer.

After a second they heard Barry over the speakers again. "Oh, yeah! I feel that!" Ella, Cisco, Iris and Caitlin smiled at one another. "That is the tachyon device powering up the Speed Force in your cells like a quick charge battery." Caitlin explained. "How do you feel?" "Different." Barry answered. "Let's see how long it takes you to get back here." Cisco said. "On my count. Three, two, one. Go!" With that he ran.

"Dang! This thing's got you cruising'!" Cisco exclaimed. "How fast does he normally go?" Iris asked. Looking over Cisco at his computer. Ella looked over at Caitlin's computer. "Not this fast." Caitlin answered. "Not even close." Cisco added. "Are his vitals okay?" Ella asked Caitlin. "Yeah. They're perfect!" She answered in surprise. "Cool. It's like having a pit-stop attached to your chest." They watched him on the computer as he raced through the city. "Guys! I can go faster!" Bare shouted. "Do it." Cisco said in awe.

With a sound like thunder Barry arrived in the lab. Wind whipped they're hair around and papers flew as the lab shook. The group looked up to see Barry standing. He took off his mask as everyone looked at him in amazement. "I'm back! Wha-how long was I gone?" He asked.

Cisco walked up to him with a large smile. "Let's put it this way. . .you just annihilated your old record." "You went four times faster than you've ever been!" Caitlin exclaimed. "Four times?!" Barry repeated. They all nodded. "That's as fast-"

"As fast as Zoom." Everyone turned around to see Harry walking in. "Well faster, actually." He clarified. Barry looked at Ella and smiled widely. She smiled back. "Hey, uh do you think we can get this thing smaller? It kinda sucks." He asked Harry. "If it sucks. . . then yeah." He answered, taking it. Barry turned back to the others. "Alright!  So now all we have to do is figure out how to get back to back to Zoom." "Yes. Uh just a minor issue. We closed all the breaches and have no idea how to re-open them." Cisco said. Barry frowned. "Wells?"

"Yeah. I have an idea, Allen. Let's keep the breaches closed forever. Forget about the breaches. Forget about Zoom." "Wait I'm sorry I thought that you were on board with this." Barry said. "Nope. Nope. I said I would help you get faster. I did not say I would help you give the man who kidnapped my daughter and tortured her a chance to do it again." He said with a steely voice. "Hey, we are not gonna let that happen." Iris said. Ella nodded in agreement. "Oh! Your not gonna let that happen. Gosh I wish I would've known that the first time." He said. His voice dripping with sarcasm.

"You don't understand! Zoom is different than us. Zoom is not tied to anything! Zoom does not care for anyone!" Ella glanced at Caitlin seeing her look down. She felt bad for her. She had fallen inlove with Jay and now she had found out he had never loved her. Wells continued. "I do. My daughters out here in this earth somewhere. I have to find her. We all have people we care about. Zoom will use that against us! Believe me." With that Harry started to walk out.

"Maybe we should just let it be." Caitlin said looking at Barry. "No. Look. No. We're not turning our backs on another earth! We're not gonna let. . .Zoom get away with everything that he's done." Barry yelled back to Harry. Wells stopped and turned back. "There is no way to another earth. . .Allen. Let's keep it that way." They all watched as Wells walked out.

"We're getting back to earth two. With or without his help." Barry told them. Cisco nodded. "Let's go to work." Ella called to Caitlin. "Could you use some help?" She smiled. "Sure." Ella walked passed Barry and gave him a smile. "Hey!" She heard him shout. Thinking he was talking to her she turned around, but only to see him walk over to Iris who was walking out. She furrowed her eyebrows. "Where are you going? We could use your help." He told her. "Uh yeah. I would it's just. I have a date. With Scott." Ella froze. Scott? "Scott. Scott Beckett? The guy Ella-The new editor?" Barry asked, not mentioning the fact that Ella dated him. Iris nodded. "Yeah." "Good. Yeah. No. That's good. I'm glad you're finally ready to move on without anything holding you back. You deserve that."
